Staff here are treated like trash and expected to do more than what they applied for. All for the sake of everyone being family and doing it for god. What a joke, this school takes advantage of staff and upper management supports it. Not worth the insane price it offers. This school is worth no ones time, not as a student or staff. Your time, energy, and effort will go unappreciated

My daughter started her 11th grade year and is loving it. The school has been so helpful with her dual enrollment at Coastal Carolina Community College. The school covers tuition and we cover the book cost. This school offers a wonderful opportunity for any student who wants to graduate high-school with an Associate degree.

The school is L skibiddi not fanum tax rizz unfortunately they let the teacher teacher baby gronk go because he was rizzin up livy dunn. After this the GOAT of school lunches CHECKER'S was introduced. After Kai Cenat left as the principal the school became one with the trenches and the teacher frequently teach us lookmaxing and sigmaness.

Very impressed with this school over the past year. Nothing but good things to say. Teachers have great communication with parents sending out routine emails about what is going on in the class. The Christian curriculum is amazing and very appreciative. I have a 5th and 6th grader currently attending and have been amazed at the progress they have made since leavening Stateside. The attentiveness of teachers to students and small class sizes has been a blessing.

The teachers 100% love what they do. Some DO take the rules and make them their own which is where I have an issue...morality and ethics within dress code and taking it upon themselves to put their own spin on things...especially when you are talking about a Christian environment can be a bit dangerous. I only experienced this with one teacher but that can be enough to make it not a safe place emotionally. I will say that another issue I have is that there is no guidance counselor and that is an issue. The curriculum is big on keeping all the kids at the same level. Choose your opinion on that based on where your own child is..

This school has its strenghts and its weaknesses and some of the best teachers I have met and a few of the most power hungry. The memory verses in KJV are just...not beneficial but it is part of it.

Not sure Christian is the word for a family with a generational history of getting knocked up before marriage. Hypocrisy runs rampid here, and the immorality shown by the leadership is just the tip of the iceberg.

This school goes above and beyond for their students. They look at each student as an individual instead of just teaching to a group of kids. The classroom size is small and thier curriculum used is standard for a Christian school.

Absolutley deplorable. Terrible teachers, staff, and curriculum. Most of the books are for homeschooling. This school is just about them filling thier pockets.

I have 3 children at LWCS; first, seventh, and tenth grade. My older two have attended the school for 3 years. Previous to LWCS, my children attended Hunters Creek Middle, Silverdale Elementary, and were homeschooled for a year.
We LOVE LWCS! We chose this school over any other because of the environment. The leadership is wonderful and they genuinely care about the hearts of our children. The school is like one from my childhood where academics, good character, and simpler times are still present.

I would like to start this review saying my child was disenrolled from the school. Administration was gracious enough to release me from my financial obligation for my younger child for which I am grateful. Now my oldest almost attended for 3 years. My children have beautiful handwriting and really learned a great deal. Now where my problem starts teachers are only permitted to conduct parent teacher conferences after school, not before; which can be difficult for working parents. Teachers are not permitted to call parents after to school or communicate with families for fear of being terminated. The principal threatened to disenroll my child on numerous occasions. She used words like bully, hateful, unkind, strange, and frustrating to describe my child...these are words she used in front of her! Now, let me describe why this was happening a teachers child told my child one day that "she was going to blow her away" my daughter did hit this child on her arm with her book and was suspended for two days. Now, my child should absolutely keep her hands to herself but nothing was addressed about this threat. On another occasion this same child hit mine and and told her there was no reason for her to tell because nobody was going to believe her. Now, per another parents account my child was targeted by her peers and administration was aware of these it was permitted to continue. Who would you call the bully? Now on top of everything else my child does have special needs...and receives occupational therapy to help with sensory related isses. This is a child who can not look another person in the eye without becoming visibly uncomfortable and the principal called her odd....to her face. My child was so beat down by the end of the day she didn't want to read and had picked all the skin off her fingers and would pray so she wouldn't be so "bad" at school. This was painful to watch. We were not intending to re-enroll next year and we're not able to leave voluntarily due to financial concerns. The decision made by administration really was the first positive thing done for my child. My daughter was on honor roll and would have been on principals list. Now, I recently spoke with my daughter's current teacher who described my child as consciousness, smart, sweet, caring, and is a joy to have in her class.

My child unfortunately attended this school for a few years. There is an absolute atmosphere of bulling that is not only tolerated, but is promoted by the staff. There are way way to many family members working at the school to ever get any type of objective response to concerns. Teacher retention is very very poor---here today---gone tomorrow.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and run far far away from this school. This school is privately owned so if you have an issue with anything you will be first dealing with the principle 2nd the pastor who is married to the principal and then 3rd the assistant pastor who is the son of the principle and pastor so needless to say it is already 3 against 1 before you walk into the door. Also check their drop off and pick up policy, you are issued a little blue card with all the information someone need to walk right into the school and take your child at any time. The school isn t liable because the blue pickup cards are the parent s responsibility. Let s just hope nobody steals your car, purse, or wallet where that special little blue card is. Private school is generally great but for some reason this school just can t quite make the cut in my eyes to be a school or have responsibility of children in my eyes.
