My daughter is of mixed race. She has experienced non-stop racial discrimination via students at this school. Not once have I gotten a phone call discussing how we will further handle this situation. Unfortunately my daughter has become self-harming from the hatred and nothing has been done. Radio silence. I plan to withdrawal her and allow her to attend a separate cyber school. It is unfortunate.

Maybe it's just because I am a student here, but I would rather be going to any other school in this county honestly. Some teachers are very good but on the other hand, the teachers who are bad, are REALLY BAD. I question whether some actually got their teaching degree or just snuck in unnoticed. Students who do minor things are usually sent to detention (aka choices) , while when I see people openly hate races, sexualities or beliefs in this school, it is rarely taken action against. I feel like the school does a bad job at motivating their students. But, the food does really rock. I like the lunch ladies. Good job on that. Anyways, maybe it's because of the students, maybe it's because of the teachers, I am not currently liking my experience here and feel like it will not be changing anytime soon, sadly.

If your child is advanced placement, don’t expect any effort from the school for participation in AIG program. More effort is being directed to equalize the academic disparity instead of individual growth. This school places a heavy emphasis on English and actively demonstrates a disregard for science and math.

Rigid schedules, clear bias against arts/music, overlapping sports schedules that prevent students from trying out for upcoming sport, public humiliation used as disciplinary actions, teachers often “playfully” insult students, pervasive “my way or the highest” attitudes from the top down. 10/10 would not choose this middle school again.
