How is this school still on this platform? Where do I start? My child is a high performing reader in his teachers class she rewards the greater kids who dont even know how to read . even though my child is not up to par when it comes to math he really studied hard for his benchmark more than he ever did in his classwork. She doesnt even do anything about the picking. The principal is extremely disrespectful, making smart remarks about how my child wont stay in his lane when he literally does he doesnt even talk to anyone and she has no clue because she doesnt even check the classroom just dont enroll your child into the school. They dont care about anything. The kids are quick to fight. It wont leave my child alone. Its hard to ignore someone. Who just keeps on doing it every day. then here comes the teacher acting like if its my child he gets great grades on his read works then they keep requesting to change him to different classes. As he will do better than them, they dont even help him at all, and he has no support in the class. No one there is stand by his side theyre still disrespectful instead of helping remove this school immediately

The school honestly doesnt care about its students on any level - academic, socially, emotionally. Its unbelievable that even with horrific feedback they allow the upper management within this school to remain employed. There is no care for your childs learning or well being.

I was ordered to move to spring lake enroll my child here and get fresh new start they call your phone multiple times then they also dont care the place doesnt have cameras and if they do, it doesnt work they lie about it so many times my child had to fight for safety in the school principals didnt care. They got money and choose to use it for worthless stuff instead of providing cameras or fixing to the cameras people also kept harassing my child, and it was extremely difficult to talk to the principal as she just acts like an Assistant principal she doesnt do anything here children also lie on my child and she also curses around my child because of the lying children there who seem to have no consequences put to action had to issue a paper to the corporate who made me move to Spring Lake due to court orders and I was allowed to move back dont enroll your child here

Overall, I would not recommend sending your child to this school if you care about their progression. I received a letter today that W. T. BROWN ELEMENTARY is a low-performing school, but at the same time, they have a popularity contest going on to raise money. There should be more focus on the children's learning and grades.

I have no clue how this school has a 4.7 rating on google it has got to be the teachers leaving the ratings!! This school is even worse than Cliffdale elementary school which was my worst experience out here!! Tons of fights here, they do NOT care about education because they kept my baby out of school for over a month because one parent not on BC, kids fighting daily like what?? In elementary. I come from up north and kids dont got to worry about bullying or fights till middle school. Kids are kids in elementary. My baby got hit by a kid on more than one occasion so I hope yall know when he smacks kids back he wont be in trouble. Only good things is the ratio, 1;7 or 1:5 is great. Special education is def not their specialty as my baby is behind. Ive asked about tutoring etc and they got nothing. He probably needs an IEP but the school dont recognize things like that here. My baby hates it here due to the kids. I hate it cause of rude staff. I cant wait till choice school time is all I can say.

This is the worst school I have ever came encountered with. My child has been mistreated and bullied by staff and administrators. First the social worker continued to call regarding my child uniform but he has been wearing his uniform since the first day of school. The Social worker stated she would buy my child collar shirts but as I informed her, paperwork stated that students could wear plain tee shirts or collar shirts. My child stated once we disconnected the call the social worker proceeded to say that WalMart has collar shirts negatively. I have tried to communicate things out with the school but things have gotten worse. An administrator in the office put one of my children in a choke hold but when we discussed the incident when the incident happened the choke hold was never mentioned. Administrator admitted she did put my child in a choke hold. When discussing my childs education the school only gave me one option to do an assessment to label my child special ed (handicapped) just because I asked for extra one on one assistance with his math and reading. All students received an assessment test at the beginning of the school year so why was my child final scores not used to see where his level of education stand? The teachers are rude and assume there is problems within your household when you address your concerns with their(teachers) behavior. One teacher address my child as that child instead of their given name. One of my children called me stating she was sick but no adult nor nurse gave me a call. When I called back to make sure my child was okay, the front desk administrator was rude and was talking to others in the background. I have addressed these concerns to the principal and board of education. This is not all of my concerns and nothing is being done. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
