Words can not express how happy I am with this school. My daughter attended here over 19 years ago and the staff is still kind and loving and take their job very serious, always keeping the best interest of the child their top priority!

If a child is being bullied or being a bully, the parents are notified with a sit down meeting and talk with the teacher. If a suspension is needed one is put into place and the parents are notified as well as the other parents, if another student was involved.

This daycare is a very excellent and caring daycare. They try their best to work with their families and students needs. They are very prompt in notifying parents of their is a problem or whatever the case may be. The teachers are excellent and have the education needed to work with these children. If you have a question it will be answered to the best of their knowledge, and if needing more information will put you in touch with the director. This place is awesome and the staff is amazing too.

The after school teacher works well with all students to get their home work done as best she can. The ages range from k-5 and most often the younger kids need the most help where as the older kids help each other. But even still help is always provided and homework gets done after snack and before outside time.

The teachers at this school use the creative curriculum to help the children’s minds grow. This is a daycare not a school system so there for, the curriculum will not be the same as what the children in the school systems are learning. These kids range from infant to pre-k and their attention span is not that of a school age kid. The teachers make lesson plans and post them weekly on a bulletin board in the classrooms.

At wee wonders they teach the kids to have respect for others and their things (blankets, juice cups, etc.). They are very prompt in the rules, and guidelines in addressing hitting, kicking, biting, and other behaviors that fall into this category. Parents are notified about accidents. The children here learn to become their own individual person while playing with others.

The teacher was nice but the owner was rude and the child did not want to go to her!

Today the owner of Wee Wonders Daycare in Stedman (Clinton Rd) called and left a voice-mail for my sister about wanting her to pick her daughter up before closing. Not because the child was sick or there was an emergency but because she was the last child left. Then when my sister got there a few minutes later she told her that they didn't babysit for her to run the roads after work. Sorry but my sister was taking her son to the doctor's and me to get my flat tire fixed after work. She wasn't out running the roads. Plus my sister is self pay and the daycare is advertised to be open until 6pm. The owner asked her "What if I had something to do this afternoon?". You do - it's called stay at work until you are scheduled to close and provide safe childcare to the children who's parents pay their hard earned money to cover your salary! Please spread the word so that no one else goes through this! We saved the voicemail!

The people at Wee Wonders are nice as long as you never ask questions. The kids say they just watch TV and when I pick them they are playing. I asked if I could see a curriculum since they are a preschool and it went downhill from there. Wouldn t take my children when my schedule changed and had to go to work, even though I gave them advance notice. Won t let me change daycare, holding me to a week notice rule. I knew somethin was wrong when the children didn t like going there, never had problems before and they usually like going to preschool.
