As a current student, I like the school and have made many memories with my peers and teachers. However I have not grown much in the academic side of the school and I see myself often having to figure stuff out on my own. I think 90% of the teachers here are great and do not deserve what I have seen. I know what I have done and I feel disappointed in not only peers but myself. Finally I wanted to point out that a lot of teachers that really helped me on my journey to becoming a good person and that they taught me core life skills.

I was a student a few years ago, and I had the WORST experience here…. The 8th grade english teacher, always screamed at me, embarrassed me in front of the class multiple times, called me a liar, and just overall emotionally abused me. In turn, I became very depressed and traumatized. She is an awful teacher, and I seriously regret not speaking up and telling someone about it at the time…. If I could go back and tell someone before it all got as bad as it was, I would’ve. I just hope she’s still not acting like that towards a bunch of kids, but I have a feeling she hasn’t changed. Worst experience ever!

I went to this school for 3 years, and I must admit it sucked. Everyone complains about the problems but no one actually fixes them. The parents bark expecting the teachers to magically make the kid THEY raised a good student. Truly a clown show, and not a recommendable school...

Terrible school, My mental health was fine until I came here. They emotionally abuse you with constant work and if you miss one day sick at home. You miss at least 5 assignments. Forgot to mention the teachers are very rude.

My kids go here now, we moved a few years ago from mass. Sending my kids to SMS was the best thing we could do. They have a great staff, incredible administration and lots of after school support!
