These kids are so bad its not even funny. Clearly they aren't being disciplined at the school or at home.

The teachers are actually a big part of the problem. They are all for the drama!! But they won't tell u, but when your child tells them their being bullied, they are shunned away!

My child esteem is in danger because of the bullying. This school breaks u down. Even the teachers are a strong part of the negativity.

They dont care about bullying. It happens constantly FAILS, no one ever sees anything. yet they can go back to the cameras. but where was staff?? U know the ones who are getting paid to do a job?

Hate is a very strong word ,I do not like to use. I just want to keep my daughter safe , and dont understand why adults dont do their job. It's almost like they want the kids to fail. Very sad situation. If parents donte control their kids at home, well they can definitely let loose at school and not be punished!

The principal is a joke. Instead of being professional he acts as a tough guy. They hid the gas leak last year from the parents. The teachers are only there for a check. They started a dress code to cut down on fights but it didn't seem to help their joke of zero tolerance. When you ask for the assistance the staff does not know anything and will direct you to the principal who is always out of the office. Of all the schools they closed this should have been one

My son started school in Camp Curtin this year 2012-13. He's in 1st grade and his reading and math have improved dramatically. He passed with an above average grade and is already learning 2nd grade work and I think the school's doing a great job with the children in their learning process. They still need some improvement in some things like organization and disipline but for the most part I'm satisfied with my son's education. Thank you

I as a parent of a child in the Harrisburg School System...Is pleased with the outcome of my son's education...I know there will be some parent's who will disagree with my opinion,but please allow me to explain why...1st thing 1st,Our childrens education believe it or not starts at home...with the proper teachings of everyday life and the use of common sense goes a long way,From the time my son was able to speak a few words as a todler,I started off with the face game...helping him to identify eyes.nose,mouth,ears, etc,than came the ABC'c and 123's,colors and shapes before starting daycare,so by the time he was enrolled, he knew the basics..and this carried on through elementery and jr. high and soon to be highschool...Parent input is a must in this educational system,,,behavior and academic wise especially.My son Janyle Davis is an 8th grade student at Camp Curtin.
