I have no issues with the middle school, teachers regularly email parents with assignments, staff is friendly, my daughter doesn't get along with everyone but who does? School is secure with armed guards on duty. Lunches are fine according to my daughter. Counselling service is available during the day. Only negative is the school is old and should be remodeled.

this school is horrible. i do not recommend putting your child into this school. there are many bullies, and the school doesn’t do anything about it. the schools lunches are over priced, do not recommend at all.

Teachers seem to just assign busy work with no teaching or explanation. If your child plays sport, the coaches aren't much better. No skill development, no structure to practices, and coaches favorites get 99% of playing time. I have watched the same player get a technical foul at every basketball game for 2 years. It seems more based on who you know here, while the kids that have worked hard for the past 8 years and actually know the game sit and watch. This is all a reflection on the leadership at this MS. That is as much as can be said without the review being removed.

I would rate this a 1 because it is not very good for reasons like grading, student health, cost of lunches or extra food like ice cream.

As a parent of an 8th grader who isn't doing very well, I do not get any assistance or advice on how to help my child achieve better grades. Its like my child is being swept under the carpet. its funny, the ones who graduated from Northern 20+ years ago seem to be favored than the ones who were not.
