The school 's name recently changed to West Shore Christian Academy, their website is WestShoreChristian.org. I am the father of two teenage students, who attend this school since Pre-K and I appreciate an education based on scriptural values, conservative, dynamic and challenging. Preparing them well for a challenging life after school - which does include college - where the penalty for goofing off has to be paid by the person himself. This does include training for creative, critical and independent thinking based on biblical values, not just regurgitating knowledge, which can be found in books or online. I am confident, that this school can provide this training and have seen it already many times. Some of the administrative leadership is new to the school and things are changing, too. Staying on proven tracks - 'Don 't touch a running system' - but improving it carefully with wisdom, where needed. Without sacrificing the interests of the students and their parents or the legitimate ones of the loyal teaching staff.

To be quite honest, as a middle schooler this school was fantastic, friends, and sports everything seemed so bright, but it was just because I was shielded from all the happenings. To be quite honest, recently I have been VERY dissapointed in this school, to the point where I am going to a public school. The way the administration handles very serious matters, to teachers that you learn absolutely nothing in their class, to the limited classes you can take. Yes, it's an alright school if you want a Christian standpoint from teaching, but as far as education goes I am downright disappointed. We pay tuition and get a worse education than public schoolers. On the flip side, the sports are quite fun and the coaches are really good, but we don't have very many successful teams.
