My daughter goes here and hates it. The teachers are very unreasonable with punishments and there is NEVER any homework. They expect parents to come out of their pocket with about $100 every two months. The school is WAY to easy for my daughter Journey. HORRIBLE! Math/Science Academy definetly deserves a 1 star. Im very dissapointed. - Signed a very angry mother - Mrs. Farita Jones

All my four kids have attended this school and I still have one in 8th grade. This school is wonderful! The teachers are open to the parents and challenge the kids to do what they are capable of doing. I agree that if you are not an involved parent it will impact your child's success - though that is true for any school. It is a challenging curriculum and the teachers prepare the kids for High School material. The kids become self discipline really quick and are held accountable for their work. I've seen teachers go above and beyond to help the kids get to where they need to be. I recommend this close with my eyes closed.
