Great experiences all around. I feel like I have seen the extremes (very bright child and special needs child) and both children have been very well served.

My children have been at Silver Spring for 2 years and so far, none of the teachers assigns "busy work." They tend toward a few projects that (done correctly) will take a few weeks of work. Much more effective in my opinion.

I have one child who is very advanced for his age/grade and one who is special needs. Both have received excellent and appropriate guidance from their teachers.

The principle regularly sits in on my team meetings for my special needs child. He takes a personal interest in my son's progress.

My special needs child entered first grade not even able to be rated on their system because he was so far behind. With the help of their amazing special education department he was almost at grade level by end of first grade. They continued to work with him in second grade and by Christmas he was at grade level. It took hard work from my son, of course, but he could have never done it without the great team at Silver Spring.
