This is my daughters first year at Newport middle school. She absolutely loves it. She wants to go to school every day. She is happy to learn. I have no arguments with her to do homework or anything. Teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this school, we are very impressed.

I have a child whom is ADD defined. While special education classes are required, I found them of no more help than a.normal classroclassroom. Teachers whom are no more equipped to handle special needs children than the crossing guard, lack patience, fortitude and goals. Our family is currently looking to move a few miles down the road as to not be placed in this school district.

I believe Newport Middle School to be a sound place of learning. The teachers work extremely hard and their are many opportunities provided for our children. Many of the things they have in place seem to be making a positive step in areas of the arts, academics, and sports. I would recommend it!
