I want to start off by saying I am not a bad review writer type of person...but I feel anyone considering school districts for their child needs to know that this school district is a joke. The entire staff (with the exception of the woman at the front desk) is extremely rude and are in major need customer service training. Their communication sucks. When they closed various schools in the district due to mold, the children had to go a half day for weeks causing my family to incur multiple unnecessary expenses. They don't even care if your child has a 504 or IEP, the guidance counselor makes it clear your child is one out of 800. To anyone moving to the area, I would highly recommend Wedt Shore school district over this freak show.

As a student at East Penn Middle School, I think the students should be given a voice. I have asked requests to the staff several times, whether it was about classes or having errors as to my name, and it took several times to get the problems fixed, and some didn't even get fixed! As for our team placement, I think we should be able to write a list of who we would want on our team, considering we will have to spend 8 months with these students. There are great teachers and there are teachers that are not good at all. I'm going into the 8th grade and I am very nervous of how I will do, because our grades and understanding is based on how we are taught. If we as students have to show up to school 5 days a week, you as staff should listen to what we have to say. EQUAL RIGHTS!

This school is OK. Nothing special about it. Recently, some teachers were laid off because off funding cuts. EP does have good sports programs, and activities.
