Trident Academy truly changed my sons life. Before coming to Trident, he would come home defeated and tell me he was stupid and hated school. Hearing that as a parent was heartbreaking. Since starting at Trident, he has grown into a confident student who feels proud of himself and actually loves going to school. I will always be grateful to the teachers and staff for believing in him and helping him find his confidence again.

Trident Academy is such a special place. They have spent the last 50 years perfecting their approach as a school for dyslexic learners. You can tell the teachers are highly trained, but what really stands out is how much they care about each student. It is a wonderful community that empowers learners to reach their full potential!

The first impression I had when I shadowed at the school was great but when I started my first day of school it wasn't the same it was worse I got laughed at by multiple girls there are barely any kids that go to trident there are two boys in my grade and about 10 girls in the grade and one of the boys is disabled the other one is special needs the school isn't a good fit for your kids if they are trying to make friends and wants to play a sport the only sports at this school is cross country tennis and volleyball there's no soccer no basketball or football none of the kids here are athletic or normal the first week I came to trident the special kid spit on my shoes and I got so mad at that I was about to do something this school I'm already having problems at and I would recommend you to not send your kids here.

My son is excelling and content and happy at Trident Academy. The teachers are incredible and he has learned more this year than he had in the 2 years before at his previous school. He progressed from not reading at all in over 2 years at his previous school to reading pages of chapter books in 4 months. We are really impressed. We love it and he loves it!

Trident has been a great fit for our daughter. The teachers and resources they have for children with language based learning differences are truly amazing.

Not at all. They do not support children with disabilities.

Lack of knowledge and education on ASD children and what their needs are. Also, two day interview shadow process is not enough time to know a child with Autism

If you are looking for a school for a child on the spectrum (ASD), even a high-functioning child, this is not the school you want to apply to. This school may be great for a "typical" child but unfortunately it is not for ASD. Just wanted to inform the parents because it advertises for high functioning aspergers (which hasn't been a separate diagnosis since 2013).
"Asperger syndrome is one of several previously separate subtypes of autism that were folded into the single diagnosis autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with the publication of the DSM-5 diagnostic manual in 2013."

Poor quality in special needs education would never recommend it

Our family did not have a good experience with this school. I do not recommend their Autism program. We moved for this school and it was a mistake. We fully regret putting our child in school here and making the sacrifices we did to go here. Had I known how things would turn out, I would had stayed in the public school system.
