Everyone talks about Reeves Elementary but the administrators here are a joke. The adults at this school are very cliquey because of the principals. Racism from the principals and there is not a lot of diversity here. The principal plays nice at first but you will slowly see her true colors as time goes on. Communication is not the best either. Things get swept under the rug and some teachers are not supported 100%. This school is not the best for minorities.

Teachers will openly admit that they watch as your child gets bullied and called names. The assistant principal will inform you that if another child hit yours, and your child hits them back that it is just horse playing and your child will also have consequences. Even after reading the definition of assault and self defense to them. My child had amazing/supportive teachers last year and now we are dealing with this. If you send your child here, be sure to stay on top of any issues, document and understand that not everyone has your child best interest in mind.

My child has now completed 3 grades at WRES. The school is very organized and the programs and special events are fresh and fun. The staff are kind and professional. We are very blessed to have our child attend WRES.

Teachers here are caring and dedicated. My oldest was an exceptional student, while my younger child struggled. Bth of their needs were addressed effectively.

My fifth grader has a great teacher. My kindergartener has a teacher that needs A LOT more training and to step down off her high horse.

Talk is cheap. Action counts. Running your mouth about kindness while showing no compassion towards a child whom you are well aware has behavioral issues which are being handled by a professional just shows your true colors.

This school has made me rethink my feelings on homeschool. Both of my children are very intelligent. My oldest is a straight As golden child. My younger son has some things that we are desperately working on. If you have a golden child, they will probably be bored but otherwise ok at Reeves. If you have a child that doesnt fit in that box, prepare yourself for a nightmare. Also, prepare to fill out endless amounts of repetitious paperwork in order to register your child as Reeves is still stuck in the Stone Age and cant figure out how to do things online. Thats because (as I was informed) we just cant trust computers.

This school has an amazing team. Ms. Hayes is an involved, organized, caring administrator who loves this school. I wish my kids could have stayed at Reeves forever!

My son just started kindergarten and he loves it. He loves school, his teachers, and has grown so much since preschool. He has a wide variety of activities that he truly enjoys. I know if I contact his teacher via email I will get a response and it there is any trouble that I will recieve a phone call immediately. I'm very happy with this school. My son's also a rider so I pick him up from school and drop him off. All of the monitors call my son by his first name. They are just wonderful. I couldn't be more thankful for such a wonderful group of teachers.

We were moved to reeves from knightsville by the district rezoning. For us it has been an awful transition. Very cliquish. Keep being told extracurricular activities were decided at the end of last year. Given obligatory looks but none of the "new" students are selected. Have not felt welcomed Sadly with a first and fifth grader their whole attitudes about school has changed. They loved school up until this. Myself offered to volunteer but no reply. If you start this school in kindergarten and become part of the in crowd you may love it

The teachers are all excellent and have made sure that my daughter is challenged with her curriculum even though she is advanced for her grade. The campus is beautiful and always well maintained. Marlins Rock!!!!

One word - incredible. The level of staff and parent involvement is hard to beat. They were also 1 of 2 elementary schools in the state to receive the Palmetto's Finest award. WELL deserved!
