I’m very happy being a part of this community. Well trained and certified teachers and excited to be working towards our Montessori accreditation. Come check Trinity out if you are looking for a well rounded Montessori community.

I’m confused and concerned as to why a school with multiple dss complaints and findings has not been shut down or at the very least monitored weekly. I think there are many other choices with much better reputations to choose from. Sad and heartbreaking that parents need to be concerned about their child’s well being at Trinity when they should be trusting in their care. This childcare school does not ease a parents anxiety it causes it. I encourage parents to take the time to go to the dss reporting site to make an informed decision.

Please check dss reporting and montessori accreditation before enrolling - we highly regret enrollment — a very concerning experience here.

Director has the personality and enthusiasm of a door knob. Melissa is not involved in anything to do with the school and is a terrible leader. They are understaffed and will blame your child for their lack of supervision. 3 year old was blamed for breaking glass and playing with it. They only want children that are perfectly behaved and will isolate your child if this is not the case and say it’s the “Montessori” way. This school calls itself Montessori but is not accredited in any way shape or form. My sons teacher was a terrible communicator and educator. Her failings as a teacher was blamed on my child. Run the other way if you want your children well cared for unless they are in the infant room where the teachers are absolutely amazing but I doubt those teachers will stay there due to understaffing and the lack of appreciation they get.

Both of my children attended Trinity Montessori School through the Elementary program and have since transitioned into traditional school settings. The foundation that they received there was extraordinary. My only regret was in not choosing to keep them there longer. The teachers were loving, talented individuals, and the environment is very family-oriented. In a world where education is becoming increasingly impersonal, this was an invaluable quality. In addition, the curriculum was challenging and stimulating. Both of my children are gifted learners and were able to thrive and excel in this environment at their own pace. I cannot recommend this school highly enough, and am so grateful for what it provided my children!

This is a good school for your average child. My husband and I were very disappointed that our high IQ child not only failed to thrive, but was forcibly held behind by his teachers. The teachers expect your child to complete task 1,2,3 in order to go to 4. But if your child is already at 5 and is not interested in doing 1,2,3, then there is a battle of wills and your child is left pouring beans in the corner all day. My son, who has been reading and writing since 3, was not allowed to hold a pencil in this school because he did not want to complete the activity of holding the rods properly. He was never permitted to practice reading because he didn't show an interest in learning the cursive letters that they pushed. Never once did they ask him to even try.

When we expressed our frustration that he was not learning any new material, and explained that we were still having to teach him at home, their solution was for us to stop teaching him at home!

My son then began acting out in class because he was bored out of his mind....the class is full of very interesting lessons and materials, but the children are only allowed to use the stations that the teacher allows....once your child does 1,2,3....which brings me back to the issue above! After four months of frustration, we left this school.

So as I said, this school is fine for your average to moderately gifted child....but for anything outside of average: very high IQ, highly gifted, high energy - they just do not have the capacity or the training to deal with it.

We have resorted to a more casual, play based daycare and have resumed teaching in the evenings, and we finally have our happy little boy back.

This school stays true to the Montessori principles and has an excellent learning environment with teachers who care about the individual child. My children have a love of learning that I don't see in their peers who attend other traditional schools. Trinity students are able to excel in academics without being held back by the "stay with the group" mentality. They are encouraged to explore their work and truly understand it rather than just rote memorize facts to get it right on a test. Worth every penny of the investment in my children's education. The downside is there is no middle school program there.

TMS is an example of what works when educating children. TMS provides children with opportunities to develop lifelong learning skills. The program does not throw a net to learn a lot and only skim the surface, TMS gives children opportunities to dive into topics and skills and become deep learners. Attending to task for long periods of time so FLOW can occur, a natural process observed when children get into project is developed and respected. In addition to the mass amount of brain based practices used in the traditional Montessori classroom is the community of learning. The acceptance of each child regardless of socio economic, race, gender or ability is very apparent and having expectations of cooperative behavior and responsibility for self is a lesson that is taught and enforced from toddler age. Seeing is believing.
