Principal is very fake. I dont believe she genuinely cares about the children. The teachers are hit or miss, some great, a lot not so great. Front office staff is rude. My 2nd grader missed his bus home one afternoon , and they blamed him for not being where he was supposed to be, when the real issue was a teacher not calling out his bus number. Front staff was extremely rude about it. Another time, my son was sent to the library to learn virtually all day because he took his mask off when he couldnt breathe. The pandemic has shown the true colors of the school, and sadly, theyre lacking. I asked for physical worksheets to be sent home for my 2nd grader (who spent most of 1st grade virtual) so he could physically work on his handwriting. The teachers response was that they dont do that. So I had to order my own worksheets. They rely way too much on technology to teach kids, rather than building fine motor coordination with pencils, paper, glue, and scissors. Overall theyre going downhill from where they were a few years ago when my children first attended KES (2019).

I find the administration at KES to be subpar. I have tried to communicate with the school on multiple occasions about two incidents in which KES did not follow protocol regarding my daughter's after school care. They have not gotten back to me in over two weeks over such an important matter, despite phone calls and hand-written notes. I also cannot find leadership effective when I have no contact information for the principal; I don't even know if there is a principal. I find KES's lack of communication unacceptable, especially considering that I entrust my child with them for such a large percent of her life-- compulsory attendance laws actually mandate that I do-- nevertheless I feel uninvolved in the process of her schooling and most importantly, her well-being.

My student has had 2 wonderful teachers so far at Knightsville. The staff and teachers are so personal and caring, especially for a school this large. They know everyone by name and my daughter loves going everyday. Jag Time after school is a great alternative to day care and a wonderful program overall.

Love Knightsville Elementary! All four of my kids have gone here. Reminds me of the elementary I went to a million years ago!

I absolutely LOVE this school!! I would not want my kids to go to any other school! While all of DD2 is amazing, Knightsville takes the cake!! I have a 2nd grader and a 1st grader that attend this school and every teacher they have had is GREAT! I am also a substitute teacher and Knightsville has the best work environment I have ever been in! All the staff is extremely helpful and always has a smile on their face!

We loved Knightsville Elementary School. I had one daughter in Pre-K with Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Gibson and a 2nd in Kindergarten with Mrs. Guilmette and Mrs. Hudson. This was the first year of school for both girls and we couldn't of asked for a better experience. This school offers caring teachers who would do anything to help the children in their class succeed. Both my girls' have been given a great start in education. We have recently moved and won't be attending Knightsville this year, but the school will be greatly missed.

The principal is friendly and approachable. It is obvious that he loves children. I love this school.
