LCCA is awful! They say it is flexible, it is not. My daughter's teacher never answered questions. She was always so vague. It seemed like her internet was always down when it was time for live lessons. STAY AWAY!!!!

Stay away from Low Country Connection Academy!
The worst mistake I did was moving my children from the South Carolina Connections Academy to the Low Country Connection Academy big difference. I thought it was a good idea since I live in the low country area and my children would be able to socialize more. Not at all! Everything about this school is bad. The teachers are pretty much MIA all the time, good luck getting in contact with anyone about grades or anything to be honest, god forbid you need a transcript or any type of record. The IEP team knows nothing and doesnt care. They want to do everything through text and if you ask for a call they are always busy and wont pick up the phone they text from or even respond to text messages. I was so disappointed, LCCA make connections academy look bad. The neglect is truly on a whole different level that I have never seen in my life. Parents , just don't register your children here, save yourself to stress and trouble.

This has been the worst online school experience since 2020-2021. Connections Academy itself is great, but then they sent him to this school and it is beyond horrible. Teachers don't show up to live lessons. Teachers tell the students they don't understand it either. They schedule midterms, projects, and assignments on top of each other on the same day so work falls super behind during testing. They need a serious overhaul of their project management program. There is zero organization. No one even contacted us until after the start date of school, no one responded to phone calls or emails. Teachers have gone into live lessons teaching other grades and not the correct subject because they are so overloaded with classes and students.
The only thing worse is public high school but if you have another option, I highly recommend you take it because this will drop your straight A student's grade because no one is actually teaching them anything or knows how to teach them.
I can't believe this is allowed to be a school. Horrible.
