The male security officer is horrible. He bullies women and is unhelpful and disrespectful. He ruined my babies graduation day with his rude and unprofessional behavior.

The staff is amazing, to include office personnel and teachers. My daughter is on a 504 plan and they were extremely accommodating over the last year during COVID and use of online school systems. I highly recommend this school for the Newport News area. Very wonderful and knowledgeable staff, my daughter has never had a hard time being at this school. The principle is equally amazing to all students and staff.

Our family has had great experiences with the staff at this school. The teachers are involved with the students and assist them with different ways to learn. The office and cafeteria staff are always helpful. Our experiences with the school nurse’s have been wonderful for my child who needs medication everyday. Overall a caring staff that are interested in and involved in our children’s education.

The worst experience ever. We are a military family. They do not have a strong/good support system for military families.

Absolutely terrible school, we could not wait for the year to be over. We are changing school!
Teacher was completely unprofectional and unfit. Very desapointed

We love this school. When my husband was transferred to Ft. Eustis, I was worried about the kind of school my son would attend. From the moment we went in the office , I began to relax. the secretary helped me with the paperwork and she talked about the school. Then she offered to give me a tour of the school. I relaxed as we visited the cheerful kindergarten classes. I can visit whenever I want. This is a GREAT SCHOOL.

My son attends kindergarten in Ms. Bowers classroom. I highly recommend the school. I do not understand the rating of the school being so low. It is a clean safe area and the teachers are wonderful from my experience thus far. The staff in the main office could improve, they seem to lack enthusiasm and warmth, but other than that, it's a great school and my son loves it.

We have had such an amazing experience at Kiln Creek Elementary. The PTA is wonderful and organizes many fun activities for the kids each year. The staff is very competent and friendly. I love that parents are able to sit in and observe a teachers classroom and make teacher requests for the following year. We are a military family and are sad to be leaving such a great school.

i have a son 5th grade who has autism all i can say is we will miss this school when he leaves and goes to middle..... his teacher is great, LOVING and cares alot about her students . we will go back every now and than to see the teachers that has help my son bloom into this smart , outgoing student .. thank you kiln creek ..
