My child just started in this school a few months ago. We transferred from a local school district. I heard so much about West Point being such a great school district so we were extremely excited! However my child cries constantly about returning to this school. My child has had issues with other students, but the problem has yet to be resolved. They’ve described the environment as very strict and the curriculum is harder but they’re given less help during regular classroom hours, made to figure things out themselves—not considering the fact that some children learn differently and that some children have learning delays—they may not be as strong as their peers. My child also stated that the feel as if they faculty at the school doesn’t care. My child is constantly saying how they want to return to their old school. A few other things to note the high school is absolutely phenomenal. The bus driver on my child’s route is rude and mean—extremely rude. The middle school offers no basketball and there is no drama club either. They do offer after school remediation at the elementary, middle, and high school which is a plus. However my child is struggling and it breaks my heart!

Excellent elementary school. The teachers care and are in control of the students, not the other way around as you find in the schools of the surrounding counties. The schools still offer arts and music, something that, unfortunately, is being whittled away if the schools of surrounding counties due to finances. My only concern is the strength of the math and science offerings in the middle school, given that their PALS scores are not much, if any, higher than the middle schools of the surrounding counties; e.g., St. Clare Walker in Middlesex County. The high school is unquestionably superlative to Middlesex's; why not the middle school?

The faculty is great. They have wonderful teachers who care about the children.
