The principle is amazing, always on his feet, walking, talking and interacting with everyone.

Every year my child is visually upset that the school year comes to an end. He loves everyone of his teachers and they have helped him to come along way. Next year will be the last year for us here at Clara Byrd Baker, and I know we will be sad to go.

The no homework program is a little confusing but at the same time, my child has a teacher that is beyond incredible.

Every teacher we have had throughout our tenure with the school have been extremely helpful and accommodating. Everyone of them have worked so hard to help every child walking through the hallways.

I have two boys at this school. A 2nd and 3rd grader. I know they aren't angels and I love that the teachers have been strict but loving at the same time. They haven't had a bad teacher in all of the years that they have been there. The new principal this year has worked wonders. He takes time to talk to the kids and they love him. The teachers seem to like him too as I have heard nothing but positive comments.

I feel the environment is a positive one. However, coming from a charter school that ranked a 10 in Florida, I have to rank accordingly. I have had two wonderful teachers and one not so great one. Just make sure to be involved and build a relationship with the teacher.

My son just started Kindergarten at Clara Byrd Baker. We couldn't ask for a better teacher. She makes an exceptional effort to keep us informed, daily, about our son's progress. Our son also comes home every day excited about what he did in school. Glad to know our shy little guy is so engaged!

We have had some excellent teachers at this school and some REALLY mediocre ones as well. The administration is the downfall of this school. The principal interacts with the students very little and shows little or no enthusiasm. I have been very disappointed in how he has 'resolved' problems that my children have encountered. (More like swept them under a rug) Luckily, we have had a couple of excellent teachers that made our experience at CBB more positive than negative.
