Grafton is a fantastic middle school. The academics are rigorous and expectations are high, but staff and families work together to help students achieve the goals. The students are respectful and hardworking.

Overall, we are more than satisfied with the curriculum, level of teaching, and commitment of the principal and supporting staff members. Students seem to be well assimilated from diverse social, economic backgrounds. Athletic programs are excellent my children even like the cafeteria food which is a plus.

The kids are terrible they were very mean to my kid my kid came back from school with punch marks on there face. As well as the terrible students the teachers are even worse. The teachers were yelling and cursing at my kid as well as the bus driver did not wait for my student at the bus stop and was als caught speeding. Terrible school do not recommend.

3 kids have been through this school. Outstanding leadership and setting clear goals and vision. Programs are very tuned to getting kids prepared for Grafton High School.

Very pleased with my daughters years at Grafton Middle. She went there from 6th-8th and all 3 years were very positive experiences. We did not have problems with bullying and the band program is top notch. Middle school years are not the easiest, but Grafton made it smooth sailing for us. My daughter took the PSAT (optional) in October of her freshman year after her Grafton years and knocked it out of the park. Very pleased with her education at the school. I highly recommend.

My son had a great 6th-grade year at Grafton. He was involved in band and advanced academic courses. He--for the first time since starting school--was challenged, but was able to complete the requirements. The block scheduling prepares the students for high school and college. I found the teachers to be supportive, especially when I was deployed.

Some very mean kids ruin this school. Very cliquey. Outright bullying. Kids are very much involved in what you wear. Kids get shoved into lockers or books are knocked out of arms and then kicked down the hallway. The school corridors are so crowded that it's a game to the kids who do this as it's hard to retrieve the books. On an upside, there are some very caring teachers and a chance to find your niche at the different extracurricular activities.

A zero rating. I have never met a less responsive school when it comes to the needs of their students. They do not care if students are doing well, or if the parents are happy. They have the attitude that "if you don't like it, you can leave." Unfortunately, not everyone has that choice, and WE are paying their bills and salaries! Avoid it if you can, and I pity you if you have no other option.
