It's been wonderful! I have both general-ed kids and one with specialized needs, and all of them have been loved and nurtured at this school!

FINALLY! A school where the policies are actually based on research and are developmentally appropriate! If you want your kid spending the few hours they have after school doing unnecessary worksheets, send them somewhere else! Homework here is only given when necessary and is usually project or family based. Such a difference!

My kids are challenged here, at an individual level, because teachers are well-trained and understand differentiation. They are also not limited to a corporate script, and can pull many different resources to meet individual needs.

The NILD licensed therapist works closely with students who need her services and also provides resources to teachers with students who have extra needs. I've seen children not want to leave the NILD classroom and heard others ask to go work with her! Teachers are able to support students with learning differences because they're so good at what they do and the class sizes are small.

At CCA, they believe a child’s spiritual, social and academic growth is the responsibility of the home, church, and school. Therefore, by working together, learning activities may at times extend into the three entities. Teachers, saints, and parents may choose to complete activities at home in support of the learning happening during the school day. In such cases, the activities should be individualized, of the saint’s choosing, and relative to the learning. Ideas for these activities can fall into the following categories:
• Reading (Saints should be reading something every night)
• Outings
• Outdoor Activities
• Arts and Crafts
• Philanthropy

The administration knows every child and is an active participant in the daily activities of the school.

The school offers Personal Academic Coaching Services and Cognitive Therapy for those with learning differences. All students are able to receive one on one instruction and receive accommodations if needed.

The administration counsels students involved in bullying situations on both ends. The school uses Circle of Power and Respect and Morning Meeting Times to address social issues as well as a weekly chapel led by students. Bullying is not tolerated and always addressed appropriately.

The curriculum is Biblically based, as is their approach to conflict resolution. We've seen our children grow in their love for others and the Lord.

We've never had a problem working with the principal and the students at the school seem to love her. They often visit her office for rewards! My children often come home with stories about dancing with her to celebrate small milestones. She seems to truly care about each and every student.

They have a licensed educational therapist who works with children at their own level in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings. She and the teachers work together closely to plan appropriate interventions for children who need them and communicate with parents regularly. Weekly progress reports are sent home. Students who need extra help but do not qualify for therapy can receive tutoring, and the teachers are amazing when it comes to working with students in small groups and changing up their methods for different learning styles.

Any issues my children have had have been extremely minor, yet have been dealt with swiftly and appropriately, with extreme care and love. Students are encouraged to love and support one another, so we haven't really experienced a true bullying situation. My and my children's concerns have always been taken seriously.

Excellent. Central Christian Academy is a wonderful school. They really strive to do what's best for each individual child and support the WHOLE child. They push children to be the best they can be and to love and serve God. I would encourage any family looking for the best Christian school to send their child to Central.

We looked everywhere to find a school with an appropriate approach to homework. Here, students are only given homework as family-centered projects or to extend learning. No more tears over homework!

Most teachers have masters degrees and in our experience, have been very effective at teaching our children. They work extremely hard to do the best they can for their students. They are often working late after the school day has ended, preparing materials or meeting with families. They truly go above and beyond.

What a wonderful school! We looked at many other Christian schools in the area, and this one was exactly what we were looking for. The teachers are great and I'm so impressed with what my child is learning and how the teachers are able to integrate it all. Most other Christian schools we looked at don't do that or they use really old-fashioned curriculum. It's a warm, inviting, happy place to learn!

Our daughter has been a student at Central Christian Academy for the last two years. We feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing school. The staff is friendly and truly cares about the students AND their families. They utilize state of the art technology to ensure your child receives an education that is of the highest standard. Their Christian values are exemplary and they consistently practice what they teach. We have been so impressed with the expectation that parents be involved in their child's education. CCA holds several activities throughout the school year so parents can be involved and see the progress their child is making. CCA makes it convenient for working parents by offering before and after school care. They also offer a camp during the summer months filled with fun activities. If you are looking for a quality Christian education we highly recommend that you look into CCA.

Please do not waste your money or your child education with this school. This school has a huge turnover every year. The principal is very rude and unprofessional. On several occassion I have passed this lady in the office, in the halls or just anywhere on the school grounds. She would not even part to say hello.. just a fake smile. One day I was in the office and she was in a meeting with a student parents, she was so loud and irate that the pastor had to inetervene. If you have a child in this school... Please Please questioned your child about their and have them tested on a regular with a learning center. A Poor quality of education.

Worth every penny!! My son has always done excellent in school but was never really enthusiastic about doing the work. He has attened both public and private schools(including CCA a few years ago) and always made honor roll. Last year was the best school year we ever had. The students are taught how to problem solve not just to memorize the answers. They have fun while learning!! The principal is very involved and addresses problems to make for a positive environment. CCA guides families to have strength in God and church!

Don't waste your money! The school has received a "face lift" but the staff leaves alot to be desired as well as the new principal. My child came home in tears daily because her teacher 'yells' at them everyday. I spoke to other parents and they have informed me their children have told them the same thing. The principal has no compassion and seems to have a hard heart! Very sad. This is suppose to be a christian school but you are told if you do not go to church your child may not be able to attend the school. I thought christians were to reach out to the unsaved. The curriculmn is based on SOL's not what I want for my child. Very disappointed in the school.

My child has been at CCA 4 years and loves going each day! She was reading books in Kindergarten and already above grade level. The Wilson Fundations curriculum is amazing! I never worry because I know the teachers and staff take the best care of her. It's great that they offer a summer camp through the summer that helps keep them on a routine and in a familiar environment. I love CCA!
