This school is the reason why I have depression, 0.2/10 I dont recommend. The Teachers there are mentally exhausting and draining emotionally, And this school isnt really recommended for Special needs students because the teachers are considered Unstable. The teachers also threaten us with ISS and suspension if we do a such little thing. My feedback for this school is to hire teachers that are more experienced for special needs children and put slightly autistic people in SPED classes.

As I have just graduated from JMS today Its a wonderful school. 10/10 experience. Teachers demonstrate care for their students academically and emotionally. The music programs and extracurriculars have done so well this year. I have made many amazing memories here. JMS truly balances academic success and care for its students.

The worst school district they food is the worse it looks like dog food and its very sickly and has bugs everywhere the ceiling in the class are bout collapse the lights keep going out and its just not a good school recommend

Cockroach's everywhere teachers threatening us the roof is falling apart in the gym and the worst part is that they spend their money on buffets for the teachers and not using that to pay thé electrical bill I wish I wasn't here and my class agrees and they forgot about us twice and only us while serving lunch and refusing us a certain food when they have plenty of it one teacher loves the little girls they banned thé word glaze and good boy which to us aren't taken offensive but they don't care. If you see this principal fix this school please for us

Not good. Some teachers are rude, especially the 8th grade assistant principal. Several things have happened to me and my friends (something racist or bullying) and she did nothing. Sometimes they even lose important information.

Technical problem marathon. Know my child has a unique name going be the CPSchools initials but for every year they change the password to one login there is always a problem with ONLY my child. It's still happening in high school, but it would probably be easier to fix once it started. Every time they change the password to one login my child has to go through hoops and leaps just to get in because they ALWAYS have something go wrong once it gets to them. I've tried emails after emails to get it fixed but it always can talk DAYS to get it fixed. We're closing in on school we don't have this long. Other than technical difficulties which the school SUCKS at handling. I would like to say they mostly excel in everything else.

My son loves this school! At Chittum Elementary, he was barely passing. Here, he was on Honor Roll every semester! He loves his teachers, everyone of the staff makes this school a welcoming and fun place to be, and his grades reflect that.

Mrs. Garrett is a breath of fresh air for this school! She makes learning and coming to school every day fun! She incorporates families in many different events to make it a true community.

Adminastration does not treat staff equally. Sexual and racial discrimination. Poor relationships with teachers and parents. Lack of leadership, knowledge, or integrity.

Adminastrators do not demonstrate knowledge of special education requirements. Teachers do not want special education students in their general education classes for fear of disruption or lowering SOL scores.

Joliff Middle School is a phenomenal school. Mr Hicks is a one of a kind Principal. He knows all his students and families. Even when we see him around town he's always asking how everyone is doing. He goes above and beyond to ensure that Joliff Middle School has the best of the best to offer it's students. The teachers and administrative staff are always pleasant and everyone at Joliff goes the extra mile. It almost seems like that's the motto at Joliff and the positive spirits are infectious. Mrs Metzger, Mrs Potter, and Ms Wood you have made such a difference in my child's life. Thank you for your dedication to your students the three of you truly are angels. Needless to say Joliff Middle School rocks!

This is great school, location and quality teaching. The teachers are very involved with ensuring the student are learning the information and retaining the information which is key to being able to apply it later in the future. The staff is excellent with the children and there are alot of great activities/clubs for the students to keep them out trouble.
