As someone who attended this school, it single handedly changed my life in the worst way possible. Staff favored the meanest, ghettoest, nastiest kids, didn't do anything about bullying, although they claim the school is bully free, and teachers just don't care.

My daughter had the worst experience i have ever witness at this school, she was bullied and assaulted by a student, the school administration did not help in this matter, instead they treated us like we was the problem, this school have fights almost everyday, kids are vaping in the bathrooms, they do not care about your child and what goes on with them in school, I wish more parents spoke out about this school because some kids suffer from bullying in silence. "SPEAK UP & OUT AGAINST BULLYING!!!

I've hated this school for the amount of fights like if I was in an interview I would say exactly all the experience. or at least if I'm In a dharman show I would do base on a real life story

the school is very weird like not going to lie & the school is good really good but it's not overall the best school to go to well the teachers it kind of depends what type of teacher you get and it kind of depends what environment ! + like something seriously wrong with the cafeteria's food like I do not recommend eating it the chicken is actually horse yeah I said it and I found out.. + they kind of lie about the food you're eating so I recommend bringing the lunch from home so you don't get poisoned and they don't list all of the things that are made of ( stuff you can get allergic to) the school's environment is good like depending on like your mood and what teacher you get like I said but the school like really racist + the school is kind of teaching the kids to do the wrong things again it's not a lot of people it's just like a small amount I do kind of recommend going care but maybe you should follow what I say because like I said the food is really nasty and the classroom ( some of them are really nasty they have roaches and mice on the floor so maybe don't wear your best shoes to school) and everybody like cares about how you look and stuff like that and people get away with a lot of things so I do like this school but it's kind of like seventh grade mostly because seventh grade be doing too much to be honest like I be seeing them doing crazy things- so maybe only go here for 6th grade ? + I only went here because I didn't get my wavier on time ! _ there's so much better schools than this but this school is good it's like an 7.5/10 or 7/10 people be doing crazy things but this school is good but you go outside like the country a lot and they have like good sports though like the sports are good but people are really racist in their school- ( all races ) and I kind of tell us not to snitch like I kind of agree with that but I kind of not because what about their doing something illegal? though it kind of makes sense because you don't want them to get revenge on you or do something bad to you also there's a lot of people that got expelled in the school so this school should be safe

i was bullied in this school and when my parents were to report it the school said they will get all the students who saw it and talk to the kid who bullied me .They never did . The teachers dont care about if a Hispanic gets hurt only when a black kid gets hurt .

i was suspended in a fight by a female and i was suppose to be suspended for 3 days but they check my record and they took 1 day out of my suspension but the administrators are really nice but the student are really bad in the school so now i have a 2 day suspension and if any student comes to this school they will have to be careful for what they are going to see and should report it to the administrators and i promise u that if u are and adult u have to read this now because i will explain everything if u agree with me now i am a falling creek student im in 7th grade i will be back in this school on tuesday any question

literally fights break out every two days and everyone here is crazy, whenever i go to the bathroom, people screams their lungs out for NO reason, which resulted in the bathroom being closed. Overall this school is ok with all this teaching and learning.

This school lowers students self esteem, very disorganized and dont give the amount of attention needed to the orchestra. A little bit of racisim among teachers to! overall i dont recomend this school for youre student, pls if you have the chance move!

I can only speak from a parent's POV from my child. She's learning and her teachers say she's always asking questions and engaging. She came from a private school so maybe her foundation is different. There were a lot of fights last year but I haven't heard many this year. Family engagement, I'm the parent who sends emails if I need clarification from a teacher. I don't wait for them to contact me. I don't like the the school gives out information last minute & I rarely hear about anything regarding the PTA.

The teachers are reasonably exhausted but they try hard. They have some pretty good teachers at this school and Ive been pleased so far with most of them. The district in general for chesterfield county is segregated due to zoning and too often parents are not aware of the opportunity of a variance or open enrollment for specialty programming.
One issue with this school is that the principal doesnt engage parents well and should be active with the pta. Parental engagement would change the negative perceptions within the school culture.

Both of my daughters had a great experience at this school. They were challenged by the academics, became athletes, sang with the district chorus, and made good friends. My husband and I enjoyed the programs FCMS made available to the parents (talent shows, PTA events, concerts, etc.) and we remained involved throughout their time in the school. Because of the education our daughters received at FCMS, one of our daughters was accepted into the Meadowbrook HS IB Program and the youngest was accepted into Appomattox Regional Govenors School. Get involved with your childs education, partner with their teachers and your three years at FCMS can be successful, also.

I never had so many problems until my daughter started going to this school i gets called every single day and sometimes the stuff be a month old and administrative and teachers hold grudges they will also hold my daughter accountable for actions which is correct by lack holding other students accountable when it involves her i never in my life ever been angry about a school n i have a child who's in the 11th grade but went to salem i cant let her to continue to go there next year even it wasnt so late in the year i will pull her

Chesterfield County schools are usually above average with excellent teachers and parental involvement. This one seems to be the exception. While the teachers are incredible, dedicated individuals, their hands seem to be tied. They don't have much parental involvement and seem to not want any. The quality of the education speaks for itself. If you read the student reviews, only one is free from a multitude of errors.

I have had a bad experience with this school since my daughters started attending last year. One of my daughters was bullied by a boy, his mother, and his sister at the bus stop. She was so upset by this matter that it prevented her from taking the bus to school that day. She was told to report this to the principle and she did so. I guess she should have just kept it to herself. She was given two days in school suspension for defending herself against the two adults involved in this matter by using words only. Where is the justice in this situation when a 30 something year old adult is bullying by swearing and threatening my 13 year olds at the bus stop? I called the school about this this situaion on the day it happened. I did not receive a return phonecall for two days. I wll be moving shortly and I cannot wait to get my daughters out of this school. I am sick and tired of them being the ones paying the consequences when they are trying to defend themselves from bullying.
