The Goddard School - Chester

My son attended the River's Bend Goddard School for preschool and was fortunate enough to attend the first Kindergarten class in 2011-12. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. The owners, Stephen and Paula, the teachers, parents, students, were exceptional. My son learned a great deal not only from the standard curriculum which is outstanding, but courtesy, consideration, discipline, compassion, and on and on. Had the school offered education past kindergarten, he would surely continue his education there.

Our kids have been at the River's Bend Goddard school for almost 2 years now and we love it. The staff is great and the school seems to have lower turn-over rates than most other child care centers, and it seems that the turn-over they do have is due to the staff becoming licensed educators in the school system. The center is bright and clean and offers a lot of engaging activities for the children. The new gym is a great addition for rainy days for the younger children and for a nice, separate space for the older children who attend before/after care...so they don't feel like they're lumped in with the 'babies'! All in all, I highly recommend the River's Bend Goddard school. They are very accommodating, from helping you get your child/ren in/out the door to signing for packages for you during the daytime, if needed!
