Dr. Stamm is the best principal. She knows every students name and is always engaging in the classroom. I've never seen a more involved principal.

JBB offers tons of effective teaching techniques to accommodate children of all education levels. They have breakout staff and programs to assist both above and below average students and there are always in class aids around to lend a hand.

We haven't had a huge issue with bullying here, despite my sons diminutive stature. JBB Encourages children to find ways to problem solve together and be good citizens to each other. While you will always have interpersonal conflicts, the Vice Principal is highly effective in resolving any of them in a peaceful and positive manner.

I am so impressed with JBB. I'm thrilled to be a bumblebee. We came from private school and our experience here has been far beyond any year we spent there!

No real homework is issued at lower grade levels. All homework sent home has been very engaging and furthers my childs learning in a positive way.

I LOVE our JBB Teachers. They're dedicated and kind. They all seem to really love being there and find ways to involve students in learning.

Good school, great parent involvement. If you have a child that needs special attention or has difficulties, this is not the school for you. The school is too concerned with test scores and not the students themselves. To be a new school with so many resources, they should have plenty to instruct students on each level. Very disappointed.

My children have been attending Blayton for 3 years now and I have not one bad thing to say about the school. My children are doing well, the teachers are attentive, and the administration is friendly and professional. The entire staff truly want each child to succeed. The PTA provides educational events and entertainment as well as fun activities such as the annual school carnival. I highly recommend this school

My daughter attends 2nd grade here and I volunteer quite a bit so I have seen many of the teachers often and have gotten to know them. It is a very safe and happy environment. The school is new so everything is clean and modern. The principal is wonderful, she always has a strong presence and greets the parents and kids alike. The school has activities throughout the year to encourage family participation. They want parents to be involved and informed about what their child is doing in school. My daughter is thriving academically and socially and that is how I ultimately gauge how good a school is.

I just moved here and heard this was a great school. I have 3 children attending Blayton one in 5th, 2nd and Kindergarten. It is a nice new school building. I will say I think they are lacking in communication with parents and organization with functions. The principle Mrs. Huffman is very kind and I like that she is always greeting people. My experience with the teachers has been conflicting. My child's 5th grade teacher seems laid back and not really in control of the class. My child has stated her teacher has yelled at them for being too loud and has said "shut up". My other child who is in 2nd grade I have not had any problems with that teacher except during an after school "Family Night" where it felt very unorganized. My last child in Kindergarten I feel the teacher has little to no communication with me as a parent where my child is at educationally and feel the curriculum is not age appropriate. I am honestly surprised this school is rated at a 7. There needs to be more teacher communication with parents and better organization. I appreciate the measures they have to ensure student safety. My main concern is the teachers. I am not impressed.

This is essentially a brand new school. It is in its second year and two of my children have attended both years. We have had nothing but positive experiences here. Wonderful teachers, caring faculty and administration, and great use of technology. Parents are involved and welcomed into the school which is important to me. I also feel that they have great security measures and have prepared well for emergency situations. I highly recommend this wonderful school.
