Our children's academic performance has always been in honor rolls, which is awesome! I do believe teachers here try to see each individual student's potentials by looking at their pasr test scores and their unique strengths.

My son came from Nisqually MS and blossomed. Academically he was challenged but has manageable homework which allows him time after school. Their sports coaches are amazing, caring and supportive. My son does baseball and wrestling and the coaches build up these kids with great life skills. My daughter attends their softball camp and developed a love now for the sport! I love that they embrace not only skills for college but they support military and trades- I appreciate this since not all kids want to go to college. So impressed

This is an amazing school the teachers and staff are amazing, and the sports programs are super well maintained and organized.

Great School!! I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and the principal.. Mr Shaw is a great choir instructor and they put on a professional quality musical complete with choreography. My daughter is thriving academically. Her circle of friends are all academic focused kids that don’t drink or party. Any bullying is dealt with quickly.

So Far I am giving them a 2, how can Timberline only do 1 Freshman Orientation and on September 3rd, the day before Labor Weekend? How are parents suppose to take time off to go to this event, should they not do more than 1? And through out the day. At least this is what Komachin Middle School did and so did Lakes Elementary School did. With COVID also going around you are having everybody at 1 time coming. This should have been better arranged. If this is how you do things. Then I am very disappointed with this school. Thumbs down.

This is especially true with low income students. Families have access to many resources. Timberline has a food pantry for families in need. They also have what they call the Backpack Program. Kids can sign up for this and be sent home each week with snanck type foods. Being on this program also allows them to get other services.

My kids were never bullied and there was a school resource officer to help with this.

My daughter graduated in 2018 and my son will graduate in 2019. They have done well at Timberline. Tline also has a great sports program without abusive coaches. And coaches that teach discipline and responsibility in a constructive way.

The teachers don't send home an enormous amount of homework. This gives the kids a chance to be kids. On several occasions my kids were able to do their homework during free time in class.

I have never had any issues with Timberline High School. When my oldest child did something wrong I was notified and he was punished accordingly. When my youngest child had something stolen from her and was bullied the school did a great job is solving the issues. Although sometimes I think the teachers could be a little more involved in what the students are doing on a daily basis it is also the parents job. High School students need to take on a little more responsibility for their actions as well as their parents. This school did a much better job than their school in Georgia.

This school is good. The only troubles i have are that theres allot more males than females and probably because theres a military base where all their families kids go here which is weird. They seem to have a big influence on the school. The people are welcoming and theres allot of diversity. The teachers are ok but are also mostly male. Another problem is the kids that smoke right in front of the school. If your looking for a more academic school then dont go here. If your just an average student this school caters to you. Also its probably one of the best schools in lacey. The school has a sort of masculine vibe about it though.

This is a great school. I'm glad my parents took me out of Olympia High School and enrolled me here. It's waaaayyyyy better than most schools in the area and they offer more stuff for free. This year, they have brand new chrome books in all of my classes for everyone to use. They give us a lot of freedom here so military parents don't like it because they want a school to be as strict as they are at home. All those kids goof off' at school and it's annoying to the rest of us. I wish those parents would just lighten up at home and quit posting negative reviews on this awesome school! I was struggling academically at another school my freshman year so my parents moved me here when I was a sophomore because of all the extra help you can get at Timberlinel. I am now an 'A' student and planning to enroll in 'running start'. After I graduate, I am going to UW. This school has many kinds of people, all races, religions and family incomes. Everyone gets along here and is just 'really cool'. I'd say this school is very down to earth and fun. Everyone is always willing to help someone else, whether it be school work or something personal. I am Proud to be a Blazer!! Class of '16!!!

Timberline is a horrible school and that is putting it nicely. Kids are allowed to smoke in front of the school. I asked about this and was told by the principal that it was off school property and they had no control over that. The teacher and administrative staff have no control over the school. A child can act out all the time with no consequences. They will just give them another chance. I regret ever sending my child to this place. This high school should be banned from existence. The staff should be all fired. If there are any out the considering sending your child to this school, don't do it!

My four children all successfully graduated from Timberlin. My '04 & '07 grads would have benefitted from more structure, howeve twins graduated in '11, enjoyed the autonomy, and maximized their opportunities. One went on to play Volleyball forCommunity College in Florida, the other earned an academic scholorship and is atteng University of Washington. As an Air Force Recruiter, I regularly visited all schools in the region. Timberline is the best HS in North Thurston School District. (Capitol & Olympia are both great Olympia School District High Schools. (Spacing errors due to cell phone/ app). :-)
