My granddaughter is one who needs special accommodations to learn secsefully . She has had nothing but a hard time in this school.
Her Para refuses to help her with questions about math. Her teacher screams at her to get out because she's upset no one will help her.
4 written complaints about the PE teacher going in the girls locker room and staring at undressed girls. And NOTHING is done about anything. And if she tries to let us know when it's happening. They take her phone!! Seems sus!

Principle doesn't call her adults back to resolve any issues. Only calls to tell her adults to pick her up because she's suspended for being upset because no one is helping her!

If anyone else has any issues please stand up!! Our children and children's children deserve an safe place to learn and the accomodations to be taught in a way they can understand the class assignments.

Are you kidding me firing a school custodian for leaving 8mins early when he got there early, and talking to him in a manner that is degrading is disgusting, I would never hope any one would let there child go here.

Hello my name is Pricilla. I have a 5th grader that will attend the school next year. Right now I am having mixed feeling between NWM and OHM.. I will give more feedback when school start in September 2015. If anyone can give me some information that would be great!

As a fairly new employee, I am struck by how the majority of our students are accepting of others. Our entire administrative staff and counselors work very closely with students to promote respectful behavior not only to adults but to one another.

My two children have had the distinct pleasure of attending NWMS. Both my kids are great students who have excelled under the direction of the fine, dedicated teachers and staff at NWMS. The administration is nothing short of top-notch, as their expectations for student performance and behavior are above-bar. When problems do arise, they are handled swiftly, with care and management that benefits all parties involved. While it's disappointing organized sports are not available to sixth grade students, an intramural program has been introduced and is gaining popularity amongst that group of kids. It's especially nice because some kids would not be interested in performing in a more competitive arena. As for clubs, there are many in which to be involved. My child recently decided to join chess club. I'm impressed with the dedication of our librarian who sits with the kids teaching them the strategies of game play. I'm sure there are instances where kids get in trouble, have fights, or use profanity. While it's not acceptable behavior, it is part of the Middle School culture. NWMS admin., teachers & staff do a very nice job of maintaining a secure learning environment.

This school is one of the WORST schools my children have been to. I have 3 that go there and all have gotten bullied,thier teachers are hardly EVER at school and some for days at a time leaving them with subs and imo having a different teacher 3 days a week doesn't help with thier learning. There is a new princpal but things aren't seeming to be any better from the previous years. It is also one of the POOREST schools i've ever seen. Club choices,sports are slim and not very good. They don't have any kind of tech (woodshop) cut out alot of things as well. I'd really look toward any other middle school before this one.

Some of the teachers are unbelievably disrespectful to the students and respond in an unpolite way. Other than that, this really is a nice school.

My children have gone to this school for 3 years and as military kids they have gone to school in a few states so we know about good and bad schools. My children do great because I am very involved in what they are doing and hold them responsible for their actions. There has been only one questionable teacher, but the rest of the teachers have been great. There are good kids at every school, there are bad kids at every school and the Principal and teachers are involved making the students better people here and making sure they have a complete education, you cannot ask more than that.
