Great school, highly diverse student body, lots of electives, high standards of learning. Science, Math and Music focused. Career and Tech education is outstanding. Well rounded classes and a staff that is dedicated to the students. Would recommend this school

I struggled with this school the moment my kids joined. I felt like I was pushed out of their education and not wanted. My kids had special needs and I wanted to support them and the school just insisted they needed to be like other students and to become adults. The principal is awful I constantly felt threatened and discriminated against because I am disabled and low income. I had to remove my students after I was constantly harassed and unsupported didn't listen to a word I said. Now they are harassing me to bring them back to re enroll cause magic happens? blah blah. No trauma happens at this school my kids are traumatized. They needed understanding and care and received none. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This school ensures that you child will have little time for anything other than school work.

Some are good, some are bad. The ones that are good are very good, but few and far between. The ones that are bad, are terrible, and plentiful.

Posted: February 24, 2020

This school seems to follow the "whoever tells first, gets protected" rule.

Posted: February 24, 2020

Administrators have been known to bully students. Principal tells students "to leave if they don't like it there" vice principal victim shames asking "what did you do to that person to make them want to cause you bodily harm" (bodily harm being a broken hand and a concussion)

They have refused to provide a 504 plan for my child that was recently diagnosed with adhd. Tried to force him into signing an incomplete contract that they were "just going to fill in later"

Posted: February 24, 2020

This school protects the person that tells first, even if that happens to be the bully.

Overall, the worst school for my child. Principal and vice principal are bullies. When they leave messages for you, they can't even be bothered to pick up the phone, they just tell at the speaker phone. It is quite unnerving. They do not consider that a child may have had a hard life, or be going thru difficulties. Sit down, shut up, and don't ask questions works well at this school.

They try to hide the students bullying.

Posted: June 18, 2019

Because the bullying and students safety at this school are serious issues, it is not a good experience to study in this school.

Posted: June 18, 2019

homework assignments are tracked on Skyward and by email from teachers to parents and students.

Posted: June 18, 2019

some teachers might not have enough professional training for the subject(s) they are teaching.

Posted: June 18, 2019

Students safety issues are a big concern in this school.

Posted: June 18, 2019

Principals try to hide and avoid to help solve the serious student safety issues.

Posted: June 18, 2019

The program(s) provided does not meet the standards.

Posted: July 27, 2018

Never had much of a problem with the amount of homework or intensity they gave students.

Posted: July 27, 2018

More specifically, the teachers that I had merely didn't seem to care about me or my well-being based purely on my political beliefs.

Posted: July 27, 2018

I never even heard the word integrity or compassion come out out any of my teachers mouths. They would often witness bullying happen and then do nothing about it.

Posted: July 27, 2018

The leadership here puts on a show, saying they care about your kids, and they brag about test scores. But all they really care about is keeping those test scores high. They talk about anti-bullying however when I was there I was tormented constantly because of what I believed, and the administration chose to do nothing about it. They are extremely politically biased, which teachers should not be, and they are extremely careless.

Posted: July 27, 2018

I wouldn't know, didn't have a learning disability.

Posted: July 27, 2018

As said above, they openly ignored bullying if the student who was being bullied was not in line with their personal beliefs.

Posted: July 27, 2018

Absolutely terrible, between the summer of sixth and seventh grade, my mom passed away from cancer. The following years at that school my grades plummeted, and the only thing the administration did about it was call me into the office and get me in trouble for actions either out of my control or not my doing. I was constantly bullied for the values I believed in, most importantly honor, integrity and loyalty. Any school that allows the bullying of someone purely because they have those basic values, should have the entire administration fired. I'm sure most people who have rated this school incredible only do so because they share the same beliefs that the administration does. But for the odd-one out like me, it was hell. I encourage you not to send your kids to school here, high test scores or not.

My son first began this school after moving from a different area. At first, it was HARD for him- obviously new school, new friends, etc. However after working hard and doing his best, he- now in 7th grade, is comfortable and having a good time with his academics.
