They shortened the arrival time from 15 minutes to only 10 and lock all the doors. My daughter was positioned at the door and ready to go in to the door close to her classroom. They made her leave and go halfway around the school through the office and back down to that door on the inside for her classroom.

Her teacher does not communicate, gives no homework and punishes them by taking away their fun days they earned. She is not their parent, she is their teacher. And she teaches very young kids.

No announcements, hardly any communication from the school. There was tons last year and it just became almost non existent this year. And then they changed the Bell schedule and now we have to compete with work and getting our other kids to other schools. It went very downhill this year.

Every school event has been a disaster. From cancellations, wrong orders, incorrect dates, my daughter's art was even submitted for the Puyallup art show but they accidentally put her art up against the 6th graders and was judged unfairly because she is in Kindergarten. We even told staff to fix it before the judging.
The staff continually parks in parent parking even after it was brought to the principals attention. I also asked the principal why my daughter's class was always the last to come out when Kindergartners are supposed to come out first. That was never resolved, in fact when I emailed the principal saying there was still an issue. She never responded.
The teacher my daughter has was wildy inconsistent and gets their hopes up constantly with promises of things but rarely having the time for them... they do seem to have a lot of time for videos though.
My daughter had been labeled a bully because of poor communication and follow through from staff. (Which she is absolutely not) but apparently there had been issues for a while but didn't contact me at all until a couple weeks before school ended.
I made sure my daughter could read and write the basics before she entered kindergarten which was probably over doing it but with Covid, I had extra time to teach her. In the middle of the school year I had to restart my tutoring with her because she was writing everything backwards, and took a huge step back in her learning progress which was incredibly disheartening.
This whole year has been a nightmare and I honestly can't believe how poorly this school is run.

Its just a joke.... The child that is bullied seems to always be the one at fault...

They give homework without any direction of what is being taught in the classroom.

Well as a parent who has attended this school also my daughter and now my son. I seen it all. Nothing has changed the bullying has only gotten worse. Teachers seem to turn the other way and pretend ots not going on .

My son is entering 2nd grade and has had wonderful teachers these last 2 years. I have had the privilege to volunteer in his class 2-3 times per month and I am always impressed with how hard his teachers and staff work for these kids, and how well they collaborate often as a team. The kids are constantly being empowered by staff to be respectful, responsible, and safe.

Our daughter is entering her 3rd year at Brouillet and began here her kindergarten year. We were on a district transfer due to being military and while waiting for a second vehicle our daughter was carpooling with a friend who had children at Brouilett. The transfer was granted and was the best thing to happen for our daughter. I absolutely love the office staff and both teachers that she has had so far. We just recently bought a house in the firgrove Elementry district and I will NOT switch her to that school under any circumstances. As long as she can continue to be on the district transfer she will continue on at Brouillet and I will do whatever I can to keep her there. If for some reason she ever has to leave Brouilett we will be enrolling her in a Catholic school. I do not want her at any other public school in the area. Emma genuinely loves her school from the academic side to the social side. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this school. Test scores speak for themselves! The teachers are caring and attentive. And they know your child not just as another student passing through, they really know your child. Nothing more a Parent could ask for!

This school is racist! I'm military and belong in the district and hate it! the administration is HORRIBLE and the special eduacation department is even worse! If you can volunteer at the school all day, you will receive favor from the staff. If you can from a family that needs two incomes, your screwed!

We are a military family and based on the location we decided to buy our house specifically so our children could attend school in this district and we have had no complaints. My children love going to school and I'm glad we made the right choice. I am really happy with the quality of teachers so far.

This school is very over crowded and has long had poor administration. Racism much? hum? There is no hope to raise happy children here it's all about test scores and making a districts look good. Want your kids to be happy and well rounded. HOME-SCHOOL.

My daughter has Autism, and I adore her teachers and para-educators. My daughter entered school there three years ago, and at that time was completely non-verbal. Her vocabulary is now huge, and she is also readying and writing. We started off in the Clover district, and she didn't have teachers that really worked with her, nor challanged her to grow. This school and the educators in it are such a blessing. I can't speak for all the teachers; however, if you have a special needs child, this is the school you want them to be in.

Being a military family and having to transition my children into yet another school I was thrilled when we found Brouillett, Stahl and Rogers by moving int the Puyallup School district. I was impressed with the teachers and staff from 2003 to current in each of the schools that took an interest in teaching and caring for my kids. There was an overcrowding issue up to 2009 but with a new elementary school built helped the problem. This area is highly desired and still growing so those will remain issues for this district. The academics have proved, by state awards over the past few years, to show first hand the dedication these 3 schools have to learning/academics. I also was impressed with the amount of community support that is given to these particular schools. I highly recommend this area to live and these schools to place your children for their future benefit.
