Unfortunately the principal at this institution is unresponsive to inquiring parents within the community. Sent several emails requesting information about process and was never directed or educated on what the next appropriate steps should be.
The principal did respond asking several questions as follow up (which we answered promptly), then left us hanging even after multiple attempts to reengage. His singular response only occurred when we CCd his staff.
Ultimately his actions come across as a lack of professionalism and Im certain many other communications from community members slip through the cracks.

Fairhaven Middle School is a fantastic school with tons of opportunities for kids to learn! From good teachers who know what they are doing, to opportunities for clubs, this is all around a fantastic school! If you are looking at Fairhaven, highly recommend for all students!

The school is not that good so we asked for like lunar new year and stuff like that but they disrespect our culture, which is disgusting

Fairhaven Middle School is kind and welcoming to all kinds of people, and I feel happy when I go to school every day. The teachers are all very nice, and want the best for the students, and the projects that we do I find fun. Many after school sports and clubs are provided, like soccer and track and clubs like drama club. The lunch options are not bad, and there is always two main options, plus a sandwich or bagel. I am glad that I get to go to Fairhaven Middle every day.

I decided to try Fairhaven Middle School for lunch last week, and upon entering this establishment, instead of being ushered to my table, I was promptly asked "Do you have a student here? You can't be here if you don't have a student here!" And was escorted out. Later that day, I spoke to some of the patrons leaving after a late lunch, and asked about the food at Fairhaven middle school, they responded with "It's not great, but the Pizza's okay I guess." The next day I returned to try this famed Pizza, and the police were called. They took me to a place called "Jail" and the food there was even worse! Do NOT visit this
establishment, the customer service is atrocious!

the teachers arfe rude and give detention for saying a word, the pe teacher got mad at me for self defense becuase a kid was running at me so i stuck out my hands to stop him from pushing me down

the water tastes funny and the bathrooms are abysmal it scares me a lot. also one class room the water fountain has low water pressure

sense the first hour I went to that school there was not a SINGLE person who was slightly mean or a "bully" you can tell all students and staff have respect and compassion for anyone and everyone. and we were also thought to do the right thing even if no one is looking

This school already has a high passing rate and teacher are good at making everyone stay on track and no one fall behind they explain stuff in many ways and don't just give you a confusing equation to memorize they explain it so in the future you will know how it works.

this school treats everybody equally. if someone needs a little extra help fairhaven middle school is there to support them with there learning differences.

This school is truly amazing. I attended almost two years at this school, and I can proudly say that my experience has been awesome. The teachers here are all great at teaching and truly cares about their students, whilst the kids here are also super kind and respectful and friendly. Highly recommend

Fairhaven offers unacceptable class sizes of 50 students to 1 teacher. They have a very unfriendly administration.

As an 8th grader at FMS, i feel as if i know this school pretty well. I can assure you FMS is the best middle school in city, and i'm not just saying that because i have school spirit. Fairhaven has the sweetest staff members and the students are unbelievably understanding and open. In elementary school, i dreaded coming to school. But now at FMS, i love it. Fairhaven is a well rounded, all around great school.
