This school has grown alot in the six years and 2 kids, we have been there. In the beginning (2016) we didn't even get class information until a few days before school started. Now the school seems more organized and thanks to an amazing PTO community, we have had even things like school supplies covered for elementary students. All of the teachers I have encountered have been caring and supportive of my kids, and at least fairly good about communicating. They did a great job through the pandemic and the transition out of it. All and all, I think do a great job and am thankful for them.

Don't send your children to this school. They refuse to admit that one of the children that is enrolled at this institution was abducted when they were in their care.
This school is not safe.

Overall, this school has nothing to offer to its students because they are not for the students.

Not a fan of the principal- theres always issues with PTO being able to put on events such as dances, dads and donuts/moms and muffins, anything that involves fun is turned down in fear of upsetting someone. Anything involving fun is turned down. I am not happy about anything to do with this school.

The principal is engaging and involved. My child's teacher is responsive and constantly working hard to make the learning experience fun and exciting. Very happy with Stanwood Elementary and the entire staff.
