They are dedicated, passionate, patience and smart. Plus they regularly work as a TEAM. Everyone. So, it's a group effort.

This is a big initiative I've seen with instilling empathy, respect, kindess , patience and being safe. Many of the older kids have been kind to my son, and the young ones too.

Abby Sloan is awesome! She's the most driven and dedicated principal I've seen with a fervent desire to help these kids and perhaps by extension, the community. She's there and fights the good fight with us and supports everyone.

I feel like I have a team of professionals ready to talk and listen whenever we (me or my son) need them. They love it when parents want to be involved. They don't judge and all they want is to find what works best for the kid to make them the most happy/comfortable so they can learn and have every opportunity to have a great student education.

My kid is young so I don't know. I do know that there are several staff members walking around the school talking to people, keeping an eye out. And obviously physical aggression is not tolerated. They try to hear both sides which is fair and right.

Wonderful! I never thought I would write this review for Jennie Reed but I'm truly impressed with what I've seen and experienced thus far.

My child is just starting so although they give him work to bring home. It's more to keep the child busy and provide access to education. It also cool for parent/child interaction. But I don't know how it is in the higher grades.

Their is a no home work policy even if you request it from the teacher.

Terrible. When exercising my legal right to observe classroom materials and classroom conduct I was asked multiple times, not to enter the classroom that my son was attending because the teacher was uncomfortable with parents viewing their children in the classroom. When my child arrived at this school he was at second grade standard and after being taught and tested he is scoring low on their testing and when wanting to see why they are suggesting my son needs special education services when he does not need them. He is transitioning from homeschool to a public school environment for the first time and has never been exposed to children with behaviors like I have witnessed at this school!

We hated this school. My son attended for kindergarten and is was a hellacious 9 months. I had staff yell at me, and my son. They locked him in a room when he "acted up". When he had a severe allergic reaction, they waited 30 minuted to call me while his symptoms got worse, and then didn't want to call an ambulance because it would be an inconvenience. I would highly recommend trying to find a different school for your student unless they are perfectly behaved ALL the time, and you have the time to spend with them daily to actually teach them something. I, fortunately, did have that time, and the school year was still horrible for us.

If you can get a waiver- waiver out of this school!!!! Our experience with this school has been a nightmare and a headache! They are under staffed and those whom they do have don't seem to be invested in our childrens future at all. They are rude, demeaning and inappropriate people to have your children around. We're counting down the days until this school year is over. Wouldn't recommend boarding my dog here let alone expecting them to give my children a decent education.
