My girls (K and 3rd) came home DAILY with stories of bullying and teasing. It got so bad that the youngest developed nightmares and would wake up screaming, "I don't want to go back! Don't make me go back". The teachers and staff are wonderful and seem to want the best for the kids, but the learning environment led me to pulling my kids out of the classroom and enrolling them in an online school.

As an educator, I am impressed with the commitment the staff has to student achievement, building strong community relationships, and creating positive classroom environments. When reading any negative comments, please consider personal agenda might be behind the review. Roosevelt is a great place to learn!

Roosevelt is a terrible school. My daughter was at Jenny Reed for two years of preschool, and she loved it. She talked about school all the time! She's been at Roosevelt for two years, now, and it's just crushed her love of learning. I've witnessed children being hit, knocked down, or bullied in front of staff, and nothing is done about it. A couple of months ago, my 7 year old daughter fell down and scraped her arm, and she started crying. The recess monitor on duty encouraged the entire class to circle around her, and point and laugh. She was completely humiliated, and nothing was done about it.

I have had both my girls in Roosevelt, I am very happy with the teachers, I have always watched what home work comes home and know they are getting it done. We have alway gone to all our kids parent teacher conferences, to get a understanding of what they are studying and I believe our kids learning is ahead of me at the same age. This school is a Diamond in the rough!!! Myers's
