In my opinion, this is a really great school. The staff members are really friendly, they are always willing to help anyone at school. The school offers a variety of electives and other activities. All of the students are all really nice. I just love this school. It is the best. I highly recommend this school.

as a student, amazing school, bad students, its nice, rough around the edges, but they help people alot, though a tad greedy.

Over paid staff with below average students. This is the worst school in the Tumwater district. The new principal is so loud without saying anything, the office staff can’t even bother to smile (I think their face will crack). The test scores speak for themselves. 8th graders will not be prepared for high school, these teachers hand out packets and collect a check. They spend more time trying to control the parking lot than they do a curriculum. I’m so happy I only have 4 1/2 months left dealing with TMS.

I am so impressed with the dedication of these teachers. They go above and beyond for their students, and it is sincere. The staff is all very kind.

Most teachers don’t give out daily homework so that student can come to them during school if they are confused. If the class as a whole isn’t grasping the concept they’re learning, teachers will make sure to give homework to help with that.

There are programs students can get involved in to build character, and even a class that most students are required to take. There’s assemblies every few weeks and in the assemblies they strongly promote respect, integrity, and empathy. Even better yet, the student in the leadership class run and plan the assemblies.

They have multiple leadership programs such as Character Strong, Yearbook, Leadership (as a class) and ASB which improves students ability to lead and help others.

There is room for improvement but every semester counselors hold a presentation, on how to help others getting bullied and how to help yourself if you happen to be the one in the situation. They have forms you can fill out in the office that are confidential if you need to report anything of the sort as well.

It has been fantastic. The teachers are absolutely phenomenal, and are willing to help anyone no matter who it is. The staff are incredible, and the programs they offer are amazing. They help to build character and leadership skills, and help you become a better person.

Bad programs need to be improved. I suggest the school has a better program on bullying on social media

As we near the end of my child's fist year at TMS, I am reflecting on how good the transition to middle school has been. I see the teachers and administrators and support staff making a great effort to make sure kids are noticed, included, and supported. We're grateful for the way our child is thriving in this school.

Ok this is an average school with really great teachers.... But the principal Mr. Wilcox is not even close to being a good principal. He has the worst relationship with the students. My child will come home from school some days talking about how bad the principal is and how none of his peers like Mr. Wilcox.

This school is terrible. There is a complete lack of communication between the parents and the the school. Impossible to join extra-curriculum activities.
