It is our experience with this school that they will toss out any neurodivergent learner they have in their care. The leadership at the school is cold and uncaring, and it shows in entire staff. The entire time our little one attended this school, it felt as though they were looking for ways to get our little out of there as fast as possible. The office staff is rude and impatient, the teachers are overwhelmed, disorganized and have little support. The administrators are more concerned with their image than the actual students attending the school. This is the the highest rated and highest funded elementary school in the entire district. But, I question if it is only this way because they remove any special needs or neurodivergent learners from their school. The worst part is the district supports and encourages it!! After speaking with several other parents in the district, it seems that our experience is the norm. All the funding that goes to the school should be shared with the other elementary schools in the district that actually support learners of all capabilities! The school is nothing but a show, and a poor one at that.

We have run into bullying like most families have. It's horrible and scary and the last thing you ever want for your children. Upp system on no bullying
Is above and beyond. There is a struck no bullying process and it is inforced. The principal made it a proirity to make sure our child was safe and looked after. In the world we live in today you need more good people like the ones running upp.

Absolutey wonderful. The staff is amazing, I haven't met a teacher I haven't liked. The school is safe! The system they have in place makes me feel at ease when dropping my kids off there. The principal goes above and beyond. University place school district is amazing but UPP is the best there is.

My youngest two children have both attended. My daughter is currently in her last years. Not only are the teachers exceptional, but also the principal, counselor, and office staff.
My children experience three deaths in the family and the counselor, worked with my son and made sure he was okay at school.

Both of my kids attended this school since kindergarten and 1st grade, after attending it for 3years I'm beyond happy with the school. The staff in the front are fabulous! Specially Janet. Teachers are great. Mr. Keith is so far the best principle that I meet. And when picking up the kids the teachers know almost all kids by name and which car they belong. Excellent school why they got a 7 out of 10 is unfair, they need a 11.

My two oldest children went to UPP for the past two years and I am very pleased with the progress they both have made. I'm not sure how they got a 6 out of 10 but my children both excel academically. I am very saddened that I had to move out of the area.

My daughter has attended this school since she was 3 years old and began in developmental preschool. They have been fantastic to work with in terms of her educational and special needs. I know that my daughter would not be at the academic level she is now without the attentiveness of the school staff and personnel. They really care about their kids. The ladies in the front office are fabulous!

This Is a great School, we have had all four children in this school, they love attending.They adore their teachers "we hear their word of wisdom" quite often at home...the entire staff is very attentive,they all know the children very well, most by name. The children are always attended by staff from entry to leaving. That is important to us we feel they are fairly safe and not left to wonder about. The after school programs have proved great for our children, we love attending the children are always excited. Communication is great with the teacher's usually the same day response.The staff expects parent involvement, which I think is a plus for the children,They serve our family well. If you are looking for a negative...okay parking.

My family and I love this school and the teachers we have met so far that work here. I recomend this school to every parent in the U.P. area. My daughter excels due to the support she recieves. I cant thank them enough for everything they have done for her. We cant wait for the first day of school this year.
