Apparently, this school is NOT a state approved private school. You can check the website for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction to verify this, or send OSPI an email. Also, when we originally enrolled our child in this school, several parents and the office person told us that the school was accredited, but it is not.

After experiencing a couple of the most prestigious private school in Gig Harbor. My husband and I were so disappointed. Many of them do have all the advanced materials and technology, but what they lack the most is the caring and understanding each of their student. Most of them just let the kids run around and do what ever they want or put them in front of a curriculum but neglect to help or teach our son further when he couldn't get it right the first time. But with Hosanna Christian School my son has a wonderful teacher name Mrs. King. She comes to each one of her student and see if they are having difficulty on something, if they do she helps and then asked the student to demonstrate it again to make sure that he or she get's it. All her student are very respectful and my son loves her class. My son told me that he is learning a lot because none of the kids are pushing, or hitting, or yelling at him. He even said that some of his classmate helps when he doesn't know how to do something. Which was so great for us because we enrolled him 4 weeks late and we were concern that he wouldn't be able to adopt. Thank you Hosanna for being a great school and Thank you Mrs. King for being a wonderful teacher.

Be very cautious of this school. Most teachers do not have teaching certificates or degrees. Students are taught with a basic homeschool curriculum and the school is severely lacking in science and technology.

Our son attended Hosanna for 7th and 8th grades. What an amazing, warm group of caring teachers and staff! My son is now attending a Christian high school as Hosanna only goes through 8th grade, and he recently received in a mail a special card of encouragement and well-wishes signed by several of the teachers and staff, months after his last day there. What wonderful people! My wife and I have been through several local Christian schools with our son and have never been as impressed as we were with Hosanna. We cannot recommend them strongly enough! Very fair tuition level; awesome, genuinely caring and supportive staff; excellent academic program; all in a Christ-loving, safe environment. If you can afford it, send your kids to Hosanna. You won't be sorry!

Hosanna Christian school has been a wonderful experience us for us. We have been at the school for 5 years and it feels like family. The class sizes are small, the education is top notch, and every person involved with the school loves the Lord and displays that love on a daily basis. Our kids look forward to going to school every day. It's a place where they always feel loved, safe and secure.

Hosanna Christian school is great! This school has wonderful caring teachers! Excellent family-feel, great students/peers.
