This school, like other schools, has its ups and downs. In all honesty, some teachers aren't very good at their job. They grade late, don't give clear instructions, and even don't show up half the time. They make learning very difficult and hard to understand and learn. But, there are some very good teachers who show lots of character and create a fun learning environment for most. With these teachers, they made learning fun and understandable which was difficult to do. The principal on the other hand doesn't seem to care about her job or students at all. She constantly dismisses people and continues to do so with complaints. Besides the few teachers who are miserable and the principal, this school has special teachers and students who make everyone feel welcome and like a true home. My advice, stick to your trustworthy friends and keep them close.

I wish it was mandatory that the teachers keep up to date with posting current assignments and grades on Skyward. I had one teacher not post anything until quarter ended and by then too late to turn in anything that was missing. Since this is a "technology" high school you would think there are certain standards set for the teachers. Most-not all but most of the teachers do not respond to e-mails from parents. I blame administration for not requiring this. Overall, my child is happy there-the students seem to be accepting. He likes the small learning community setting. Again my main fault with this school is lack of communication.
