This school is absolutely horrid. They value student uniform more than bullying and school condition and they constantly are finding way to get kids to ask their parents for money. Whether it be selling chocolates for school, paying for field trips, paying for uniforms, etc. But where does this money go? The bullying is at a mass amount, usually consisting of slurs, attacks on appearance, attacks on identity, home life, sexual orientation, and any flaw you have. Unless you join one of the cliques in the school you will be bashed. Dont stand out, dont standup, dont speak out, and maybe youll survive. Ive met a couple teachers that genuinely help students attitudes and make schoolwork fun while still needing effort. There are holes in walls almost everywhere, broken water fountains, no feminine hygiene products, and poor outdated equipment everywhere. At least the afterschool activities are somewhat nice. They cover the walls in art and writing on acceptance of everyone while failing to commit to that. Teachers get cussed out to their faces daily and children are called slurs right in front of them. I could go on but Im running out of typing space! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL.

Student Bullying and Violence at this school on a day to day basis. Staff reward bad behavior to students that Rome the halls which are never in class and curse teachers out on a daily. they get rewarded for bad behavior with cup of noodles from office staff. Office staff act like there friends and reason with the students. Dont send your child to this school if you care about there safety and education.

Leadership starts with the principal. Mr. Harris is the worst educator I have ever had to deal with. It's hard to have a good core of leadership when their leader is a bad example.

This school develops rude, lazy, disrespectful and out of control students. The bullys know nothing will happen to them, so they can do what ever they want.

Some teachers are good and some are not. They are very limited as to what they can teach. They are also very limited as what they can do to stop the disruptive kids as well.

There is hardly any homework in the classes. There is no percent off for turning in late assignments. Also homework hardly accounts for any points toward the grade. Kids know they don't have to do their homework because there is no need to.

The principal is horrible!! My son, who is in 6tj grade, was told by another student that he was going to stab him. Took 2 full school days for Mr. Harris, the principal, to finally return my 5 calls. There was zero resolve. The bullying is bad. The moral is terrible. And nothing is done to fix things. My son's math teacher has even been bullied by students, they have made her cry. Don't send your child here.

This school is amazing! Sure teachers can be mean sometimes but that's only so we can focus better and learn better. I'm going into 7th grade this year and im actually pretty excited! My teachers keep telling us that our test scores have gone up incredibly since the past few year which is pretty exciting! Anyone who doesnt know which middle school to go to, this is your school! Giaudrone is also bully free!

The school has changed so much (for the better) in the past two years. Mr.Edmond, the new principle has turned the school from a failing school to an award winning school for test grades. Most of the staff treats the students like their children and really get to know them Besides one teacher I had who was new, they were all very nice and genuinley cared for you. "Giaudrone huskies are ready for high school, ready for life and ready to change the world!"

Worst school ever! I went here on 6-8th grade and it was miserable. By the time i got to 8th grade the teachers started bullying me and a few other students because we were allegedly known for being bad kids. They started expelling people left and right for self harm issues. The teachers expect a lot out of you but don't look at you as a real person but more as a prisoner.

Giaudrone is a great school and the test scores show it. No bully issue and now has a wait list.

my school is great. im in 8th grade now and ive went there since 6th grade. we have improved so much since 6th grade. our school was failing and behind the rest of the middle schools in Tacoma. but when they brought our new principal he changed everything around. he hired the best teachers there are. all the teachers are great, they can be a little harsh on you but they do it because they wants us to learn. im sad im leaving Giaudrone this year : ( i really recommend coming to this AMAZING SCHOOL!
