Love this school and all the teachers. They really know all the kids and work so hard to help them learn. Kids come to their school three years behind and they make so much growth every year. Even if they arent at grade level by the end of the year, their I-Ready tests show they have made amazing progress, sometimes two-three grades in one year! This is a very diverse community that welcomes everyone and students can see themselves represented in the staff that teach them. I do wish the district and states would fully fund education so that teachers and schools like this one had the resources they need, but they work really hard with what they have. Its a good sign when kids are actually excited to go to school and learn each day with their friends!

This school is the type where if you get bullied, the teachers will get the victim in trouble.

DON'T LOOK AT THE RATINGS! This school gives your children a good option in Washington ro learn in a solid school. Many children feel uncomfortable with going to a new school, but this school has very good system for students that come during the middle of the year. Though many schools have drills this school is the only good school in Washington that teaches about earthquakes and does earthquake drills this is a very important thing as many kids in other areas don't know about how to go through an earthquake. This school tries to teach students that everyone is equal, so don't worry no matter who you are you are equal. Many parents say that their children are more comfortable in school than home because there are more activities in school many kids in other schools say that they hate school but these kids don't. Every Saturday the school hosts movie nights; you can vote for movies to watch in the school for Friday lunch and Saturday with parents and you can have an excellent time. Overall I highly recommend this school for all kids.

The PTA at this school has done a tremendous job bringing back in person events after COVID. The STEAM event they put on was amazing! We didnt have to pay anything to go with our kids and there was so many activities to choose from. All of the teachers work so hard too, you can tell its a fun place to learn.

The staff discriminate on whosoever they choose and some are shamelessly bullies to students and parents. In this school, there is not enough good to outweigh the bad. If they do not stop discriminating - more detailed reviews are coming and will be posted on multiple platforms and higher ups will be called out. I would never in a million years move to this school if I had a choice knowing the cowardly acts I have seen and heard. There are only a few good ones. I will consider posting a positive review if I see a change and take down the others. I say others because there will be more if not. This school has a 4/10 and should be sued for refusing to help kids who are grade levels behind, while bullying kids who are having difficulties (and their parents) for trying to get their kids help. If your kid has special needs better run for the hills! If they want to support kids that need help with their learning, or with bullies, as a result of them not helping the kids, and staff quit bullying them also, then will I consider removing my reviews. Who knows, maybe youll even earn a nice one. Good Luck! I think you can really be good humans.

I am a former student at this school and am currently going into highschool. I remember how fun elementary school was and how encouraging the teachers were. To be honest I still remember the ridiculous theme song, I couldn't have asked for a better elementary school experience! This really was a great school to go to.

My son is in kindergarten and I am very impressed with this school and his teacher thus far!! I am a volunteer in his class and am in awe of what all they learn in just two and a half hours! Some of the kids have come a long way from the beginning of the year it's amazing! My son is already doing research projects and presenting them in front of the class! I find it so essential for kids to be able to get up in front of the class at such a young age! I could not be more pleased! :)

This school is outstanding! My child is in Mrs. Bajczuk's class and absolutely loves her! The school is organized, has high standards, and ethnically diverse. I can't imagine my child going to a different school.

I wish there was a higher star!!! Love love love Odyssey, the teachers and Ms Boze! Unlike "A Parent" I believe that everyone try's to make the school a wonderful place to be for everyone. My daughter has gone there for 1st-5th and does not want to go to middle school. Ms Boze is so engaging with the students, from "pizza with the principal", to "Principal Sundae" to giving piggy back rides and riding her own motorcycle around the school. She is fun and gives the students tons of motivation and encouragement. The teachers are wonderful. The teachers we've had have had very good communication with us and everyone always had a clear idea of expectations. I could go on and on...but Odyssey is Amazing!!

My child has been attending this school for a few years now. I am so disappointed in the lack of time and attention given to students that want to excel and be challenged. It is disappointing to have my child in a school that does not offer any after school programs for kids. We have also ran into bullying issues, and for a school that prides itself in anti-bullying, it is heartbreaking to not have it dealt with and just be told that my child is sensitive. The only nice thing I have to say about the school is the teachers my child has had. They have been wonderful, but still did not challenge my child to excel beyond a certain level.

The teachers and staff are some of the best I've ever seen. The level of communication between teacher and parent is extraordinary. You never have to guess what your kids are doing during the school day. The daily updates are a wonderful way to catch of glimpse of what your child does during the school day.
