Dieringer is a unique and wonderful district. The high level curriculum gives students a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow. The programs and activities are exceptional. Student participation in sports, music and the arts is the highest I have ever seen. Wonderful teachers, support staff and administration. The activities and opportunities that are presented to the students at North Tapps are incredible. Holiday sing along, JA Biz town field trip, 6th grade camp, Family Dodgeball night, Motivational speakers, Heritage night, Knowledge bowl, Drama productions, and a never ending list of clubs and sports. This year nearly half of the male student body went out for boys basketball, over 120 students. A record from any school that I have ever heard of. Girls soccer had 75 participate as well. Both sports won the championship for the division. Kids and families in this district are engaged and inclusive to everyone. Highly recommend!

Very little, if anything, is done to help students who are struggling. They send kids off to high schools, regardless of what their grades are or if they have made them ready for the next challenge in their academic life. I as a parent had to reach out to teachers myself to see what I could be doing at home to help my student have success. Had I not done that, I don't believe anyone from the school would have contacted me with concern.

I was a student here a year ago for 6th grade, and it was a great school but there was a pretty large amount of bullying. The counselors talked about reducing the amount of bullying in videos, it did help a bit, but the process to reducing started to eventually slow down. Another thing is that the things there should be a bit more organized like paperwork to do for homework/assignments. I liked that school though! I highly recommend it.

Three kids in school there now and we couldnt be more happy with the school. Administration is helpful and strategically partnering with parents. Teachers are strict, reasonable, and invest in the kids. H

Believe the statistics about people of color. My daughter struggled adapting from Alaska. A different style of curriculum all together.
I also heard from other students about issues the counselor was breaking confidentiality and talking to other parents about my child.
Every time I had an issue or struggle I was always told how the school is known to be the best ( so it must just be my broken child basically.)
Rich kids have bigger options for help.

I am very thankful my child attends North Tapps. The school has weekly communication with home. Teachers are constantly sending updates about academic progress. Their PTA group is absolutely amazing with all of their community service efforts, student activities and variety activities for everyone to get involved in. The partnership between the PTA and school makes a very positive impact in the community.

North Tapps Middle School is the most amazing school because the people in charge insist on respect and good behavior from students, as well as outstanding scholastic's. Since our district is very small, we do not have a high school. Therefore, halfway through the school year, the 4 neighboring High Schools come to our school to "encourage" our students to choose "their" particular school. Our students academic scores combined with the arts and sports create a very desirable group. Being a parent of 2 children who have attended North Tapps Middle School, I thank Heaven above that we were fortunate enough to be involved with such a great group of Administrators and Educators.

North Tapps Middle School is a great School with caring, involved parents and an active PTSA organization, very well organized sports programs and fabulous positive leadership. The classrooms are clean, with state of the art technology and thier test score are awesome. The programs are set up to reward positive behavior, like thier "All Star" fun field trips. Mys son loves it and is thrieving there. Choosing North Tapps Middle School for my children is one of the best decisions I have made as a parent so far!

So glad we're out of there ... peerless academics, toxic snobbery - high price to pay for a great education

I graduated from here a few years ago. This school was great. The teachers were prepared, smart, and funny. The sports teams were good. Our band was superior. I loved how hard the teachers pushed us. It really showed to me how hard this school was when I got to high school and we had to take advanced classes to be in our level of education. It had a very high expectation of the kids. The admininstation is good. I loved this school. Great students, great school. Bring your kids here. Good school. Loved it. (: -NTMS GRAD '08
