My daughter loves going to school! Miss Tina is a wonderful teacher and the kids just love her.
We were so lucky to snag a spot when we did and I would definitely recommend NWKA!

I am thrilled with the education my girls had while at preschool with Ms. Tina. They gained confidence, learned SO much, and had an amazing time doing it. Ms. Tina laid an incredible foundation for a lifetime of learning, and I am so very grateful for her teaching abilities and this school.

My girls have been so blessed to have had Miss Tina as their teacher. They have each developed a love of school and learning because of her. It’s amazing the way she is able to develop the individual intellectual abilities of each child while promoting independence and self-motivation in her classroom. This school has been one of the best things to happen to our family here on Whidbey Island. We are so grateful for Miss Tina!

We are currently on our second year with Ms. Tina and it is such a wonderful school. We are blessed with such a wonderful teacher and the parents of all the kids make it great.

Absolutely the best school I've had one of my kids in. Ms Tina is professional and fun with the kids. My daughter loves attending the school and has learned more in the past year than I can imagine she would anywhere else. It's been such a blessing for us! She is excited to do her school work with older kids to challenge herself. The families at the school are great too. Honestly best choice in oak harbor!

My children left this school with a PASSION for learning. Both my son and daughter attended North Whidbey Academy as preschoolers, and during kindergarten, my son attended the Academy for half a day as a supplement. Miss Tina did such an amazing job fostering my son's learning, that he was taken out of kindergarten every day to participate in reading lessons among the highest of first graders. As a parent, I appreciated the thoroughness that Tina took in assessing my children. She uses these assessments to tailor her teachings to each individual child. We have sadly had to move away due to military, but both of my children are now receiving gifted services at their new school, thanks to the Academy. The resources at the Academy are endless. Miss Tina is always looking for the best and up-to-date learning materials to use in her school. I am certain that it was Miss Tina's positive and supportive encouragement in their earliest years of learning that has molded my children into the passionate learners they are today. I cannot give Miss Tina enough praise for the hard work and dedication she puts into every child that walks through her door. BEST SCHOOL EVER.

Absolutely the BEST choice for preschool! Both of my boys attended for a total of five years. They both loved the school, but not as much as I did as a mother! Academically, there is no equal! I am saddened that we had to move (as a military family) and that my daughter does not have the opportunity to attend such a wonderful preschool! I don't think I will ever find a school to compare.

North Whidbey Kids Academy has proving our grand daughter with all we could hope for and more in an educational experience for a young person. Our daughter and son in law have enrolled their younger twins to start with Miss Tina as soon as they are old enough. My wife is a 30 year primary school educator, who has visited the Academy and holds Miss Tina's program to be of the highest quality.

North Whidbey Kids Academy (formerly Doodlebugs Academy) is an outstanding school. My son is in his second year with Ms.Tina and he loves learning, his classmates, and his teacher. Small class size, mixed ages, and a fun learning environment all contribute to his happiness and success. I feel strongly that he will be more than prepared for first grade in public school.
