The leadership at this school is terrible. My daughter did not feel safe or comfortable at this school for the last 6 months. The principal didn't have any core values. Very disappointed in this school.

The principal is awful and does not care about the students at all.

As a parent, I am very pleased with this school and my child is excelling. They care about the kids, reward for good behavior, and motivate kids to be involved both academically and physically. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to be involved and communicate with the staff. Miller is a small school made up of 4th and 6th graders and all of the teachers here know all of the students in the school, which is awesome. The K-3rd graders start off in Deming a few blocks away. One downside of the school, and its a problem for all the schools here in Cheyenne is class size - too many kids and not enough room in the schools. The schools here are filing up fast and some kids do not attend their neighborhood schools. As a result, kids have to get bused to other schools outside of their immediate community. Fortunately, for this Deming/Miller district kids are not turned away if they live in this neighborhood, but I feel that will not last long as there is an influx of kids. Laramie 1 school district is in need of some major planning for more kids in the future.
