I had a horrible experience teaching at this school and couldn't wait to leave. The kids were disrespectful, the administration was less than caring.

My son had stuggled with school and behavior for many years. School after school just the same issue of him being bullied because of his medical condition. We took him out of public school and put him in to a charter school thinking this would work. After asking them for help they actually asked us to remove him from their school. Imagine Avondale was my last hope. They took him in the middle of his 7th grade. He was instantly accepted by his teachers, staff and kids. Still having some issues he tried to take his own life at the end of the school year. The Imagine Avondale Family was right there with us. While his sister was in 6th grade the Imagine Avondale Team made sure her needs were taken care of in school so we could focus on the issue with out son. When the kids started their new school year (7th and 8th grade) The Imagine Avondale Team again welcomed us with open arms. My son's whole life changed for the better and Imagine was there not only to help him emotionally but they let him bloom educationally. FINALLY a school that saw what he could do and challenged him to do it. He passed the 8th grade with the best grades he has had since kindergarten. Without this school I don't think we would have made it though the past two years. My son is happy, eager to learn and go to school each and ever day. He can't wait to share his new love of reading with his teachers, staff and friends.

My daughter has gone to Imagine Avondale since it opened when she was in 1st grade! She is going into 8th grade next year! They have provided an excellent education and support for us as a family. The staff and administration are always so kind, caring and patient. They make every family feel like they are special and a part of the Imagine Avondale family. My daughter is not just a number in an overcrowded classroom, she is treated with respect and love in a small size class where each student receives the attention they need. The teachers truly seem to love what they do and love the kids. They go above and beyond to bring a high-class education to every student and a compassionate spirit that permeates the hallways and every square inch of that school. I am so blessed that a friend recommended Imagine Avondale over 8 years ago. I highly recommend Imagine Avondale to any family looking for the best school in Avondale! Look no further...Imagine Avondale is the best!!
