Great philosophy, but weak leadership and board that seem to be veering away somewhat from Montessori philosophy. There also is a lot of turnover amongst the teachers. Great new campus and we love how there is a focus on being outdoors and exposure of young students to art and being creative.
If they could focus on education more and provide more of a consistent learning environment, could be a great school, but right now it's a great philosophy being poorly executed.

I have been part of Willow Oak Montessori Charter School since it's first year. I now have three kids in the school. The Montessori approach to education has been fantastic for my three very different learners. They are growing into confident students, eager to dive deep into lessons they are passionate about. They are learning how to work cooperatively with peers, and developing leadership roles as they mature in their classrooms. Our family feels really lucky to have found this wonderful school, a place where our kids continue to grow their love of learning.
