My daughter started at SCCS in 2023 and we cannot be more pleased. Our son will start next year. The teachers are there because they WANT to be. Communication is open and constructive.

One of the best decisions we've made is to move our son to SCCS. He's getting a great educational experience and being challenged in the best way. They do a good job of balancing academics and socialization. The curriculum is structured, from a Biblical perspective, and covers many subjects that many elementary public schools do not (e.g. extensive phonics, grammar, sentence structure, ancient world history, and more). The teachers keep close communication with their student's parents at all times to address any concerns or just share a positive report. The school is growing rapidly and has a stellar reputation in the community. We highly recommend SCCS!

We are extremely happy with Sandhills Classical Christian School! We are in the middle of our second year with one son and moving our younger child over to Sandhills when he starts kindergarten. The staff is phenomenal and extremely dedicated. The curriculum is what we had hoped and they have worked with us and my son continually to ensure he is academically challenged and it shows on his testing! Very grateful we can find a school that combines both our passion for theology, faith and reason with an academic approach to the world!

A true Pre-Kindergarten. Kids have either late spring/summer birthdays where parents chose not to send to kindergarten when eligible, or fall birthdays who missed the state cut off. Curriculum is more advanced than a 4 yr old preschool, includes P.E., Art, Music, Book Mobile, Latin and Chapel once a week, full/half day option, and after school program. Teachers were patient, encouraging, and helped kids learn great interpersonal behaviors while conveying that everyone mattered. While our child learned academically, there was lots of time for play, outdoor activities, and socialization. Teachings were not too religious - just basics of loving and getting along with one another. Our son was happy here, and it helped give him an extra year to mature for kindergarten, as his birthday was right on the cutoff. I did feel that I wanted to add some academic lessons outside of what he was getting at pre-K, such as more advanced reading, writing and math, b/c my child seemed to be kindergarten ready around the mid year point. But I was very happy that this school allowed him to have a happy, positive year to play, learn and grow before the rigors of today's academic kindergarten.
