Principal Cassady does a great job running the school. Teachers and staff are friendly as well. My issue is the security of the school. Lots of open and accessible areas to the school. My son was lost (trapped in a bathroom) for 40 minutes until a teacher realized.

The teachers are awesome. They work hard with their students and communicate effectively with the parents. Mr. Cassady has done a great job fighting to bring a PreK to the school as well. Don't let the ratings scare (as it almost did me), Cameron Elementary is a cute, small inclusive school.

Toxic environment. If your kids go to school here, ask them questions about how they are treated at
school.

I am a parent of two children that attend Cameron Elementary one girl and one boy.
I am sad to report that today when my children's mother picked the up my son was complaining saying he had been bullied by some other boys today. When asked what happened he said the three boys proceeded to kick him between the legs and he then showed her his glasses that the boys had broke. On top of that when the teacher was called and asked about it she blew it off giggling before she hang up. The principle just said boys are just ruff like it was the normal.
How would u feel if your children came home like this?
Thank God they will be attending another school next school year. Somewhere where the smiles are not fake and the teachers do care.

I can honestly say I will be so sad when my child leaves this school next year. She is a Special Needs student who has received the finest care and attention during her tenure at Cameron Elementary School. Great teachers, counselors and staff!

There is NO bullying. The atmosphere at this school is one of caring and friendship. It's a very unique situation. We are so fortunate to be in this district

The staff works so well together and they foster an atmosphere of acceptance and equality and fairness. My child has blossomed here after struggling at another very coveted school in the district. The personal attention and dedication of the teachers is absolutely amazing!

Two of my daughters have attended Cameron Elementary one graduated two years ago and now my youngest daughter will be leaving this year. This saddens me greatly as I will miss this school as much as my daughters. The principal, the teachers, and the rest of the school staff are a great group of individuals. Cameron Elementary is a little country school with a big heart.

Cameron Elementary is great all around. The teachers and other staff members sincerely care for our children and want to see them succeed as much as we, the parents, do. They have instilled in the students a love for learning and a willingness to reach for the stars. Students at Cameron Elementary are given the tools needed to be the best they can be, not only in school but in life as well. Our school understands that teamwork is essential for students to excel. Students, teachers, and parents are all on the same page as we work hand in hand while we strive for the absolute best for our kids. When a student hits a snag, we all work together to help him or her get back on the right track. Each student at Cameron is expected to always try their very best and to bring a positive attitude with them into the classroom each and every day. Self esteem flows through Cameron's hallways, encouragement is found around every corner. Cameron Elementary is hands down the best school there is!
