This schools counselor never see the kids with mental issues, teachers dont know what there teaching half of the time, It is easy for students to skip because the main principal doesnt even be there half the time other than testing and no one pay attention unless they were already in class and skipped shortly after entering , teachers never finish grading on the last semester, fa recovery messes with my kids grades after they get the amount of days wrong ,teachers called one of my children a bop copying one of her fellow classmates, had favorites and writes invalid notes, also saw the main principal give the kids who was roll dice money while picking my kid up during lunch in 2023, and no one ever calls me back even when they broke my daughters phone I could never seem to get a call back.

It does not give the children the discipline needed to function in other collegiate level schools outside of its district. They are very poor when it comes to scholarship information, with the exception of one guidance counselor. These graduates are in for a rude awakening come freshman year of college, if they make it that far! Good students are not pushed to be great students!!

Marlboro county is the third school i have been to in my life. I have been to one of the top 10 best schools in South Carolina. And Marlboro is one of the most funnest and social school i have ever been at. The teachers are cool and they really don't make school boring, like most schools. I like the students and most of the teachers. this school can improve by cracking down on the students studies. Other then that if you want your child to have a REAL high school experience then this is a good school to teach them.
