PARENTS BEWARE!!! Do NOT enroll your kids here. They are having negative reviews deleted on the Niche website due to enrollment this month. The negative reviews are ALL TRUE from past experiences. They are struggling to stay open due to poor leadership from the head of school and school board. Eversince the current head of school took over a few years ago, they have been charging for everything with nothing to show. Not many programs offered for the students due to them going broke. It’s considered a “Christian” school but they do not show it. They have a cafeteria but do not serve food. Save your kids education and money, go ELSEWHERE.

There is a major lack of support for parents and even students at this school. After multiple complaints about a specific teacher from numerous parents and students over the years you will be dismissed. Why this behavior has been allowed and no one has been held accountable is baffling. Especially when the facts are clearly evident. One would think that as a teacher at any school especially a small Christian school you would be required to keep the lines of communication open between the parents. Not here. Expecting civil conversations from a teacher is not having high expectations. It is their job. You cannot genuinely care about the students and continue to ignore these issues. Hopefully this review raises awareness and helps another family before they go through something similar because clearly things are not getting better here.

What a joke of a school everything is falling apart in the school, the gym the cafeteria, everywhere. The leadership at this school is very concerning, the headmaster is not a leader, his subordinates are not leaders, the athletic department is a joke because of leadership. They are trying to be a big school, but can’t even be a decent small school. Avoid this school like the plague, Grace Christian is just down the road and is way better.

Lee Christian School has a major problem, their leadership. It is very weak and no one knows if they have a board of directors or anything similar if you don't get support from the head of school who gives minimal support if any. It is a great thig that Christ is taken seriously there because that is it. And athletics you ask, they are ran like a recreational department with no support as well. Steer clear of this school for your sanity

My granddaughter went to public school for kindergarten and 1st grade. She struggled and the teachers did not help matters. Riding the bus was a bad experience for her. When I enrolled her in LCS things changed immediately. Learning became an enjoyable experience for her. The teachers have been absolute blessings in fostering her growth academically and spiritually. I am so pleased with this school and the positive outcome it has made it in her.
She is in her seventh year at LCS and has excelled in so many areas making her a very self confident highly motivated young lady that loves the Lord and looks forward to continuing her education beyond high school. Yes! We recommend Lee Christian School to anyone wanting their children to grow not only in academics and sports but also in spiritual and self.

Lee used to be a Christian School where values were taught and the teachers cared. The morale of staff, the poor academic standards and the admissions policies that allow any kid who is an athlete in, are the reason our family is leaving. The character of the families being admitted are not those I want to influence my children. The Head of School has one priority and it isn't high academic standards. In fact, there is no plan for the school to become accredited and the staff aren't certified. Most staff rarely have degrees worthy of educating children in a real quality school. I would give Lee a 1 Star, but I have hope that the board will eventually put some standards in place that develop a quality education for those who remain enrolled. I would advise any parent considering enrolling here to look elsewhere. This isn't a place where you want your children.

Awesome School!!!

My daughter has done wonderfully at Lee Christian and my husband and I are very impressed with the curriculum, staff and overall school itself. We are so glad we made this choice for her education and look forward to our son attending next year.

After struggling with educating four of my children in Harnett County public schools, I moved my children to Lee Christian School in 2001. Subsequently, I moved my family into Lee County to be closer to this school and to my work. I could not be happier with this institution and the wonderful staff and faculty there. In fact, I was so indebted to their caring Christian education ssytem, that I took a sabbatical from my full-time work and taught there pro bono for a year in return for the superb contributions Lee Christian had made to my children. Dr. Coble and his staff are especially considerate of and committed to military families which make up a significant share of their school population. Graduating students do exceptionally well in four year colleges and universities. Recent graduates have been accepted into West Point, Annapolis, Duke and most of the institutions in the North Carolina university system. You simply will not find another K-12 school that yields a better value in private education anywhere in central North Carolina. That is why Lee Christian School is at maximum capacity every year in almost every grade level.

I love this school! My son previous went to First baptist preschool and they highly recommend my son. We instill good morals and values within our home with the word of God with our daily studies and lee Christian is a wonderful school for this. Dr Colbert who is the superintendent of the school is VERY involved and I 100% feel my kindergarten is safe and is getting a good well balanced lunch as well! my sons teacher is Mrs. Harrison in kindergarten and she is just such an amazing caring teaching. My son loves her and feels safe in her classroom. She's so sweet and caring and takes her job as a teacher seriously with the students and VERY patient. We plan on Keeping my son in there till senior graduation!

My child is currently a Junior at Lee Christian School. I hav been so impressed by the focus on academics as well as the supportive and caring nature of all the leaders at this school. They instruct, encourage and support each student and provide them with a strong Christian environment in which to learn. My son is an honor roll student, plays basketball, baseball, competed in the 2013 Quiz Bowl in which Lee Christian took a very honorable second place. I am thankful to have found this school and wish my son had been here many years before! If you are looking for a great Christian environement for your child to grow academically and spiritually.....look no further....this is the school you have been looking for! Thank you Dr. Coble for being such an inspirational and motivational leader for our young men and women and all your hard work to ensure Lee Christian school and all it's leaders provide the same. ~ Sheila and Toby Rogers

Very disappointed! My child was enrolled in PreK. The teacher, who had an excellent reputation by everyone I spoke with prior to enrolling, never greeted my child with pleasant tone, nor did she ever greet us unless we greeted her. In the afternoons at pick up, she would not say bye to my child unless I made my child go say goodbye to her as a display of respect. I asked the teacher several times how my child was doing and she only spoke of ONE incident that she would not listen. In addition to the problems above, she was a year younger than all the children in her class. They put her in there b/c there was no other openings. We enrolled at the 2nd half of the year so when my child is only just recognizing the letters the class is starting reading groups. Of course I didnt know this when we enrolled! Needless to say it was way over her head. After we withdrew I discovered from another parent whose child was in the same class, that my child was getting into trouble everyday, which was news to me. I'm an involved parent. If I don't know what my child is doing wrong I cannot correct them. Lack of communication and a bad attitude from the teacher!
