Kids Eat Free: San Diego

Whether you have one or four kids, going out to eat can be a hassle, not to mention it gets expensive. Kids eat free at plenty of great restaurants in San Diego.

We've compiled a list that highlights a variety of places where kids can eat free and adults can still have a delicious meal, without heading to the drive through.


Bali Hai on Shelter Island. Kids under 4 eat free and adults can enjoy bottomless champagne with Sunday brunch. Whether you sit inside or outside, you'll love the breathtaking views of the harbor and San Diego.

Humprey's on Shelter Island. Kids under 12 eat free on non-holidays, and adults can enjoy the Sunday Champagne Brunch. Sit in the lounge and enjoy live music or choose the main dining room.

The Luna Grill  has multiple locations and offers a free kid's entree with an adult entrée.


TGI Friday's has multiple locations. Kids 12 and under receive a free kid’s meal with a paid adult  entree on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Bennigan’s in Mission Valley. 2 kids, 12 and underm eat free from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.  with purchase of 1  adult adult entrée.

Denny’s has multiple locations.  Kids eat free after 4 p.m. with purchase of an adult entrée.

Coronado Brewing Company  located on Coronado Island. 2 kids eat free with the purchase of a $10 entree and beverage from 4 p.m. to 7 pm.

O’s American Kitchen: (formerly Pat & Oscar’s) has multiple locations. Kids eat free with purchase of an adult entrée.  


Tony Roma’s inPacific Beach. Kids eat Free all day, 2 per table with adult entrée purchases.



Al’s Café in the Village located in Carlsbad. Kids under 10 receive a free meal from the kid's menu with an entrée purchase.

Casa Don Diego located in Chula Vista. Free kids meal with purchase of adult entrée, every day 4-8 p.m.

Cold Stone Creamery has multiple locations. Kids receive a free sugar cone with ice cream purchase.

Claim Jumper has multiple locations. Toddlers receive a complimentary plate of turkey, cheese and fruit.

Souplantation has multiple locations. Kids under two eat free.
